I love the irony. If they hadn't of cheated they more than likely wouldn't have 2 world series, just like the Patriots were found out(by my New York Football Giants) when they were rumbled for spying on teams. In other news Victor Martinez and Casey Kotchman have been acquired by the Red Sox which are both good pick ups although they could have done with some pitching help, also refreshing to see that we haven't gone for the big trades yet again and picked up a very good role player in Jerr Hairston, we seem to be be going back to the late 90's when we had alot of good hard working pros who weren't huge names like when we had O'neill, Brosius, Soho, Martinez, Bernie etc.

The Yankees have been very impressive - hardly surprising with their roster. One thing I've noticed is that they seem to have a much better team spirit than previous years. It may be due to the new players recruited but I think that management have most likely relaxed their attitude also.

I'm not expecting much out of our series with them this week. Our best chance of a win is actually against Burnett on Wednesday. We seem to perform better in afternoon games and Romero will want to make up for his blow up on Friday. After that it gets no easier for us as we travel to Tampa. It;s going to be a looooong week.
