When he wins, it usually looks spectacular, but he goes into every race thinking he's going to get things how he wants them and ends up with no plan B!
Had two doubles this weekend. One won and one lost in them both. Both of the losers were the group one horses.
Didn't lose much though so could've been worse.

Think it might be time for you to give up on this one mate. Don't think he's ever going to fire for Godolphin at the top level.

| Agreed wonder what it would have done if it had stayed with Fabre.
(watch it win next time out)
Done Joshua Tree @ 10/1 E/W for the St Leger
Read that Makfi is aimed for the QEII to go against Canford Cliffs, Delzangles said it could go in the Moulin and then Ascot but it didn't so it seems all roads lead to Ascot and then Breeders Cup Mile before it then takes up stud duties.
Makfi
4/1 QEII
5/1 Breeders Cup Mile

| Bentley in the next at Newcastle looks a big price at 16/1 - ran a good race to be staying on to a filly who's ahead of the handicapper and was backed as such last time out, steps up in trip and there's quite a hefty bias towards the stand side rail at Newcastle today. He's drawn three from the rail though will need a bit of luck in running as he was held up last time and I'd expect something similar again today.

I fancy that as well.
Caught the eye on its re-appearance after a hefty absence, would've finished even closer if he hadn't got tired towards the end, and the step up in trip will benefit him as well IMO.

| I'm giving up with this lot for the time being, need a break - not going to be backing much but will still be having a look at it, think I'd do better laying the way results are going at the minute. Had 45 quid on the favourite in the bumper at Roscommon to see a 25/1 shot beat it. Nina Carberry riding a McManus horse in a bumper is usually a shoe in.
Pig sick at the moment. There is only one winner.

| I have done a shocking thing and backed Wire to beat Saints @ 11/8
The way we went about the CC final was very impressive they seemed to step up a level I didn't think we had, seems to be a real bond between the players and Smith he has us unbeaten under him in knockout rugby an the only side we haven't beat under him is Saints.... that along with us being able to keep players fresh and rested even with winning a CC final an Saints struggling mean I think 11/8 is a little too big not to back, the only problem is that 9 year thing and the fact we aint won at KR is god knows ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif)

I'm afraid I'm inclined to agree. It's a 10/11 the pair game for me. I won't be backing Wire, mind.

| Moving On....
Caroline Woznicaki.... probably aftertiming a little here but at the beginning of the tournament I backed Jankovic at 33/1 got knocked out last round and Wozniacki at 7/1. She is currently 6/4 fav, and plays today in her quarter finals. Clisters plays Venus in the other semi, so nobody left in Wozniacki's half to trouble her really. She should waltz to the final and then play one of the big guns, but the way she has been playing, I doubt she will have many worries. The way she took apart Sharapova (and it was something close to the Sharapova of old) was awesome.
If anyone wants to take the price on her winning now, I wouldnt put you off, but I'll sit and wait till the final with my £20 at 7/1 please !

| Crap day all going off alot shorter though.
Opinion Poll and Rite Of Passage out of the Irish St Leger means Sans Frontieres is 11/4 best price glad I got the 11/2 yesterday!
Poke on Carnaby Street 20/1 E/W in the Doncaster 4.50 hard to get fit and came good at the back end of last year winning twice with cut in the ground.

| Tiger Woods 13/2 to win the BMW championship
Phil Mickelson 19/1 to win the BMW championship.
No explanation needed. Both need a win, both are showing signs of good form and both are a ludicrous price if they play to their potential, especially Mickelson who played really well for 54 holes last week without really catching fire. Think it works out about 9/2 ish to combine them with split stakes.

Might be a good job I'm playing rugby on saturday afternoon the way these results are going of late ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif) classy action at Donny and also the Curragh. Will be able to get my bets on at dinner time and have to Sky+ the racing to watch on Sunday morning.
