Jays take the series agaist the Red Sox. Nice to watch another Jays rookie get his first win in the majors plus it looks like the Doc has worked out the difficulties he's had recently.

It made me laugh to see so many scouts there watching him. Surely other teams know the calibre of player he is by now! They must have just fancied a jolly to Canada.

The big team intrested is Philli. If philledelphia get him write there name on the world series again. There only weakness up too now has been there starting picthing. Cole Hamels te world series MVP has been crap this year but will pick up add Halliday to the power hitting or Werth, Howard, Ibanez and Utley add in the speed and the base hitting of Rollins and the are damn near unbeatable

Phillies & Dodgers are favourites but I honestly don't think a deal will be done this year. Beeston is asking for a lot and despite JP flapping his gums to the media, it'll be Beeston's decision in the end.

Beeston still wants to try and persuade Doc to stay. A good start would be firing Retardi and getting in someone who actually knows how to build a winning team.

As for last night's game, aaarrrgggghhh! A truely terrible loss last night thanks to a stuttering offence and a bloody awful throwing error. WTF were you doing N-Overbay?!

I feel for Brett Cecil. who worked his backside off to keep Cleveland scoreless. We have 4 rookie starters right now, they deserve a bit of run support.

I don't know what's going on with this line up but why are we wasting our time with old timers like Millar and Delucci? If they were performing fair enough, but they're not. We've got a bunch of players doing well in AAA. I'd much rather give them the opporunity to see what they can do in the Majors than waste time on past it players.

Also can't understand why Lind didn't play last night. It's not like he needed a day off.

lol it could be worse you could follow the Pirates. There stadium seemed empty last night there was no atmoshpere they have no bigs names they were quite poor against a Brewers team that had a bad night last night. Virgil Vasquez the starting pitcher looked good though and there is a lot of bad blood so overallwasnt a bad macth too wacth lol. I cant see us rays cacthing the Sox or the Yankees now i think we may miss out on the play offs this year

At least you've made the play-offs recently! It really is the only thing in the way of us signing up Doc on a long term deal. He can't see himself in the post season with the Jays.

LOL @ Blue Jays game. 9-1 up after six innings their closer has just conceded two consecutive home runs in the top of the ninth. Brilliant stuff. Be great if they snatched it back in the bottom of the ninth.

It's looking like the White Sox haven't recovered yet from Buerle's perfect game.They went into the series against the Tigers tied at the top and lost both games of a double header yesterday and are losing early today.

Rays beat the Blue Jays 10-9

Tallet hadn't pitched for nearly 3 weeks yet Cito doesn't have anyone warming up for him once his count starts to get up there. By the time they had a player ready Tallet had hit the wall and we were well on our way to giving up a massive lead.

Once this game hits extra innings it's just a matter of when we'll cough it up. One thing is for certain, we need a closer. Downs is a great reliever but he's no closer.

At least we managed to hang on for the win yesterday thanks to another great outting from the kid Cecil.

Red Sox stopped our side today and hopefully the White Sox can pull their finger out tonight.

They had to cheat to end the 86 years of hurt, makes me laugh at them even more. At least the Celtics seem an honest team down in cheatsville. 26 and counting.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given all of the big names being outted as Roid cheats but I couldn't help but be disappointed to hear Papi's name was on the list.

Less than 8 hours to go til the trade deadline and Doc is still a Jay. The rumour mills insists that the Dodgers and Rangers are both chasing hard. The Red Sox rumours appear to have cooled and they are apparently now chasing Matinez. Should be an interesting day. I just hope the Jays don't bottle it an accept a lesser offer.
