So it's not just me that happens to.

It's difficult to know whether that interview was the same one they were writing about, but there was a significant amount of what he said in the interview that it seemed like the right one.

I just don't see why Hughes would antagonise Moyes at this point. Saturday went pretty much perfectly for him. Citeh won, away from home, their new players all showed a great deal of promise, Everton got absolutely mauled which would pretty much speed up the Lescott transfer. Why pi55 Moyes off and possibly make him stubbornly refuse to do a deal?

Even if he did say it, I don't think it's that bad. It's a pretty accurate summing up from him - Everton don't like the situation because they're possibly going to lose one of their best players to a club with bigger clout and potential. It's nothing like the "small club" comments that Fergie came out with.

Why are Liverpool constantly linked with buying Centre Backs?, It's other parts of there team that are Shyzer not Centre Half...

We've not replaced Hyypia. Agger's fitness has been pretty shocking for the past two years, which leaves us with only two centre backs. You seen on the weekend how easy it is to lose one or almost both, so I guess Rafa's making sure.

Obviously, we need to strengthen other areas, but depth at centre half is worrying, along with depth up front.
