reading a couple of posts, what books are out there about tales of betting, scams, etc only got a couple in the likes of bettings greatest cheaters and devilfish book, what books are good?

Graeme Sharpe of William Hill did a few good ones about scams, gambles etc about 5 years ago

Dave Nevisons books are a good read.

Not read the Veitch one but seen good reviews everywhere for it.

On a non racing topic Sharpe wrote a great book about the "fixed" Man Utd v Liverpool game called Free the Manchester United One: The Inside Story of Football's Greatest Scam

Might just be my local one but they tend not to have racing books there...not seen the Veitch or Nevison ones in there but have every football autobiography going and all those no mark hooligan memoires but that might just say everything about their local customers

It is excellent and if your prepared to take in what he says I'm sure it will help your punting, I'm not really into the gee gees but I enjoyed reading it and the first one A Bloody Good Winner is arguably better though as the 2nd is more just following him through a season of betting.
