That said, young Rzepczynski made a more than solid debut in the bigs (yes, another Rookie starter for TO, this one was only drafted 2 years ago!). He only had one bad inning, which resulted in him walking in a run. Unfortunately for him Tampa were also pitching very well and we just couldn't get the hits with runners on. Rolen keeps on rolling (sorry!) though. 24 game hit streak now.

Rumours abound about a Halliday trade, all coming off the back of pure speculation but unfortunately it seems to be all anyone can talk about. Ken Rosenthal has a lot to answer for, journalist my . Anyone could make that story up!

Halliday taking a swing when Maddon (and also I would think Cito) had told him not to was pretty funny. He's obviously out to impress those National League GMs with his hitting.
