The press surrounding the shirts has been brilliant, so much coming out it's untrue. The away shirt has outsold the home shirt with online pre-orders so far. Then there's this magical 20% off that we've suddenly decided to knock off because we can't sell them, despite that discount being offered on all shirts before they came out for a limited time only, which is what happens pretty much every year.

I agree that they are being pretty small time. But not as small time as Fergie's behaviour surrounding Tevez leaving and going to citeh.

Fergie's just made himself look foolish regarding Tevez. If he'd just stayed with his initial assessment that Tevez wasn't worth the money he'd cost and let him go then citeh's signing of him wouldn't be that much of a coup. Citeh signing a United squad player for an exorbitant fee and wages, WGAF? But MU's eventual offer to keep Tevez and most of Fergie's comments over this ever since have made him look like a baby.

Citeh have clearly got under the skin of Man United over Tevez. They've clearly got under the skin of some Chelsea fans with their bid for John Terry. They've also taken Arsenal's leading scorer of the last couple of years from that. Citeh have made a big progression in terms of their squad this season, but they've also managed to really pi55 off s of the big 4 and could really damage another of the top 4. In that regard it's been a pretty fantastic summer for citeh.

I still think that if citeh were prepared to pay the reported sums then they should make one final offer, just to make sure. I don't have a problem with JT keeping silent for so long. IMO he had the prospect of getting a few million quid for doing absolutely nothing, all he had to do was keep quiet. , he scored 2 goals for Fulham yesterday so looks like he will be staying there would of been a decent signing imo he doesnt score many but he holds the ball upwell which would put players like Cousin, Geo and Bullard ( when fit ) in good goalscoring positions

It was a pre-season friendly. The second half team contained a few youngsters who've never played for the first team, one of which was the goalkeeper who made a few errors. But we got beat 6-1, the season's over - deary me.

I never said your seasons over, if anything it might be a good thing for you as your players might wake up and realise its gunna be a tough season in the Championship and its not gunna be a walk in the park.

Nobody has said it's going to be a walk in the park. At the moment, the most I can hope for is the play-offs at best. It wouldn't surprise me if yesterday was a message from the players to Ashley to get out of the club now, in case he had any ideas that we'd walk away with the Championship after a decent pre-season.

They could easily have put three or four past you. Does it really matter? We beat Shamrock 3-0, Real Madrid beat them 1-0. On the basis of that, we're better than Madrid.
