Brilliant decision from the referee. The dirty get broke Feillaini's foot there. When he lunges in two footed like that where exactly were the big mans feet supposed to go? He had a choice between two broken ankles or walking across him, he chose the later. Hopefully when the FA look at that they will give Krygiakos a long ban.

Carragher is awfully lucky to be on the field too. Pienaar had just been booked for a foul so Carragher goes playing the hard man and deliberately hacks him down from behind. Automatic red card surely? Both for the challenge from behind and how deliberate it was.

Liverpool have been terrible, but as with the first derby they were dominated in, they will no doubt get lucky at some stage.

Because he didn't follow through. The foot went over the ball, but he didn't go into Mascerano with it. That would have barely hurt him, there was no power in the leg.

The referee has handled it superbly on the whole. Rafa's sent his thugs out to try and kick Everton out of rythym and stop them playing. How times have changed.

Bloody hell. How depressing was that game? Fair play to Liverpool, they deserve to win in the end because they defended well. Everton didn't threaten at all. No football played at all, just a load of diving, appealing and diving. Everton really should have been more adventurous than that, Liverpool weren't going to threaten with the lineup they had and the defensive midfield they had out. When they went down to 10 Everton should have thrown caution to the wind and thrown Yakubu up with Saha, Cahill behind, Arteta and Pienaar in midfield. Fellaini leaving the field was the key moment, Liverpool would have struggled had he stayed on and the goal was scored where he would have been defending at the corner.

Pienaar's sending off at the end was an absolute joke, it barely warranted a free kick let alone a yellow card. He misses games for that?

Why? I said they were terrible at half and they were. They didn't do anything. Second half they scored from a corner and stuck 10 men behind the ball. Everton's lack of creativity made it easy for them but there is nothing wrong with what I put.

Easy win against 12 men today. We played Everton at their own game and they were clueless. Thankfully Masch's season wasn't ended.

Mascherano got sent off away at Pompey for a potentially dangerous challenge, Pienaar executes a dangerous challenge, he could easily have 'done him' yet the game was officiated perfectly. These deluded bluenoses tickle me up. Gerrard gets a yellow card for what? Yet Fellaini kicks Kuyt in the face and doesn't even get a talking to. Shocking refereeing as always in England. Inconsistency is the biggest problem, as is the lack of bollox.

Atleast someone did it before me. I thought Liverpool reacted well to being down to 10 with 60mins to go. They defended well and Sortis is looking better despite the sending off. Pienaar should've been sent off. I thought the actual sending off was a 50-50 call and could've gone with a booking a piece. That would've been fairer imo.

Still a great result for us. The table looks alot better!

It all makes the win even sweeter, you should have seen them celebrate when he got sent off they thought they had won the game.

I agree. No excuses for the bluenoses this year, ref was all for them yet the only thing they had to show for it was a Cahill header that went over. Not the prettiest game but a derby win is a derby win.
