My dark horses are Bengals in the AFC and Seattle in the NFC.

I was thinking of the Seahawks too...if Hasselbeck has a full, injury-free season then they will win more than they lose and they've brought in some good players.

Think it may be a season or two too early for the Bengals though.

Seahaks are going to do well this year, i agree. The only issue i can see with them is RB. Pretty easy division also, Cardinals aside.

Have they got a QB who can stay healthy the whole season though ? Schaub looked fine at Atlanta when he was QB ( for a bit ).

Schaub is a very good QB IMO. Very underrated. If he can stay healthy they have a good chance and i think they have all the tools to go far.

They have a very good QB (Schaub), an excellent running back (Slaton), a top three WR (Andre Johnson), above average TE (Daniels). On defence they also have Mario Williams to get to the QB and a decent LB and DB corps.

If you haven't got an effective running game, you need stand out WRs to take the load off - not convinced the Seahawks have a legitimate deep threat, and little dink and dunk passes will only get you so far.

They do have the advantage of being in possibly the worst division in the NFL however.

Fair point, but similar to Chicago (who actually do have an excellent RB) in the passing game they'll use TE's alot. Houshmanzadeh is decent enough and they have a few that are OK to average.

not good enough mat. Rogers still has too prove too me that he has what it takes Ryan Grant wwill have too improve greatly from last saeson just think there are stronger teams out there (Falcons,Saints,Ravens,Steelers,Vikes)

The NFC has more Superbowl winners than the AFC.

The NFC also has more Pro Bowl victories.

I agree about Grant to be fair, but Rodgers was by far and away our best player last year. He'll step up more this year and somebody on Total Access (Jamie Dukes?) said he thinks after this season we'll be talking about the big three QB's. Brady, Manning and Rodgers. I agree with him.

Not saying Rogers is a bad player i rate him but hess got too carry the offense. Grant was very dissapointing and will need to step up this year. Jennings is a good player and driver can still play you need too get that running game back to how it was 2 seaons ago
