Many people don't bother with the draw preferring to side with one outcome or the other. I always say, if you think it might be a draw, back it - it's often the outsider of three and lets face it games start as a draw and it's always possible that might not change during the 90 mins.

To be honest I'm no lover of either side so there is not the factor of wanting to support one side or the other and European Finals are usually tight affairs whoever get there.

I'd go for 0-0 but it could easily be 4-4. I'm staying away.

Wouldn't bet over or under in football as a rule unless had some inside knowledge such as a team having a YTS keeper in goal but for a European Final thats too hard to call guessing how many goals is even more fraught with danger.

After posting this, I put my remaining 17 pounds that I have with Ladbrokes account on Lee Smith. Now for those that read my post before regarding the hassle I have with withdrawing money from the Ladbrokes account, I now have a decision to make whether to gamble the 200+ quid winnings I have mae tonight or to go through the hassle of withdrawing this money.

I've had to contact Ladbrokes on three seperate occasions recently to insist that winnings are returned to my bank account rather than something they created but didn't initially inform me about ... my Ladbroke account.

I have had to point out that I've had my telephone account with them for 20 years now and that money has always historically been debited from my bank account when I place a bet and if I win the returns are credited back. Apparently, now there is some mysterious account in between referred to as my Ladbroke account. It just means they get to earn the interest on my returns rather than me earning it.

I make a point of never betting with ladcrooks I will tell you why...last season I had a bet on willie talou 1st & last try but did not know he was not in the squad so I just expected the money to be re-funded into my acc after all he never even put his boots on,after about 3 days n still no money I rang them up & apparetly there is no refund in rl but there is in ru needless to say I went off it ffs the guy was injured how can you steal my money off me...Have never had another penny off me since even if they going bigger price I am by no means patrick veitch but they won't get another penny off me!

Seems a recurring theme on here with problems with Ladbrokes. Yours seems very unjust and you were ripped off for sure but their banking practices seem not to work where other companies procedures do and I guess its a case of punter beware if you want a bet and have the money back in your bank account asap.

Part way through it at the min but from what I've heard it's absolutely top class right through - could certainly teach Joe Public about getting bets on that's for sure.

Read the extracts in the Post and especially about the Nottingham coup. Will have to get round to getting it and more importantly reading it one day. Dave Nevison's two books are decent but i'm guessing this one is a class above from revues and feedback on various sites.

Forgot the name of the horse but it was the last minute putting on of bets that was impressive. Most gambles the word would have got out in the morning and the price gone before real money could be put on.

He certainly knows what he was doing getting the right bets on on that day.
