Still, Kelly, Seymour & Ellis are 3 parts of a very good D-Line. Aside from the Safeties, Oakland may have the best defence in the AFC West.

Shame our O-Line & Passing game are abysmal

Namdi Asmougha is an excellent corner back, and probably still under-rated by most people. Likewise Kirk Morrison.

However i think SD are slightly (only slightly) better with the rush they get from Merriman and Phillips. English will be a great player also. Cromartie is a good CB too.

As for safety isn't the guy you drafted in round two a safety, he was drafted way to early, but apparently is a monster hitter. Hows he coming along?

You might want to tweak your team a little for the opening weekend, as of right now Williams is atop the depth chart.

Bad news for us fans in the UK.Latest news off the NFLUK forum is there will be no tv coverage of MNF for the 1st month of the season and probably for the whole season because they can't agree a deal with anybody to show it.

The good news is radio 5 live sports extra will have commentary on a game every sun night starting with Cards/49ers this week.

Anyone got any "dark horse" tips for the coming season?? There's usually one team that surprises everyone each season - Arizona being the archetypal example of that last season.

I'm hoping my Jets could be that team this season and with Ryan in charge I can see the D being a whole heap better than it has for years - whether we have the Offense to cause teams too many problems is highly debatable but if the D keeps us in games then you never know.
