| Quote ="Chris Dalton"And what about Mascherano's attempt to outact Daniel Day Lewis which led to Liverpool's first goal? Or the handball leading up to the second?
Swings and roundabouts. This victim thing doesn't add up because Liverpool had some dodgy decisions go their way too and they do as much as anyone else. The huge injury time against Arsenal might have made for great television but had United gained that amount to win a game people would be screaming corruption.
At the end of the day...get on with it. Both sky and BBC have a glut of Liverpool pundits who were whinging, but they didn't mention the above incidents. Had Liverpool not thrown away a tonne of games after the rant it wouldnt matter. THeY lost the league. Not the bloody referees.'"
Don't give a crap about Liverpool/Man Utd argument of who's done what. They are all whinging bleeders in the Prem at the top when it comes to the crunch.
But in reference to said penalty decision, it wasn't a penalty full stop. Regardless.

I liked the way some United fans crowed on about losing a player or two and calling it a major crisis.
Everton have just lost their best defender for the season (Jagielka), to go along with their best midfielder, and best forward (Arteta and Yakubu), plus countless other injuries forcing Moyes to name a bench of teenagers. Thats an injury crisis.
How the chuff we're 6th, still with a chance of 5th, and one game from winning the FA Cup, is beyond me, it's a bleedin' miracle!
And that penalty was a shocking decision, Gomes has had a rough season but his confidence, which he'd rebuilt recently, will take a pounding now.

Liverpool fans are so bitter and resentful about Man Utd. I have to put up with it every single day. If they are to be believed the FA and Premier League do everything they can to make sure that United win the league and that referees are in Fergusons pocket. It does seem to be getting worse with United being so close to equalling Liverpools title record.

That's off my chest...phewww. I thought we were done at half time, don' think Nani is a United player fergie may have got it this one wrong. The penalty was a tad iffy but as we seen last week "you get some you lose some". I was very impressed by our fightback and Rooney was out of this world....I will say again that he is the player that drives us in a similar way Gerrard does to Liverpool. 10 points needed now

| Isn't Webb in charge of the Cup Final?
Meanwhile, commiserations to Phil Jagielka, who it seems is out for the rest of the season. He'll be a big miss for Everton - it's a cruel game sometimes.

| Absolutely appalled by that at OT yesterday. As a Spurs fan, I honestly felt the game was safe and Utd wouldn't score, I even thought we would have gone on to win by more. However it was clearly obvious that had Utd got one then it was going to be difficult. They didn't look like getting one prior to the most corrupt decision I have seen at a football match.
Webb yesterday effectively gave Utd the win and the title by an appalling decision. I honestly believe it smells of corruption it was that bad. Gomes clearly knocked the ball away, the ball changed direction for heavens sake. It wasn't a tough call to make, it was obvious. Just appalled at that, how on earth can anybody take this game seriously when decisions like that are made ? I turned the game off as soon as the penalty went in because it was clear what was coming afterwards, Webb should be made to make a public apology to Tottenham, Liverpool and the rest of the Premier League. Scandalous it was.

Its about momentum, anyone with a brain knows that. Utd had none and looked like playing all day and not scoring. Both Redknapp and Ferguson said that the game hinged on Utd scoring in the SH. They didn't looked like doing so until they were given one. Tottenham collapsed and I don't blame them. Te be honest if I was Redknapp I'd have pulled them off the field after he gave that penalty and refused to play. The game is corrupt, I remember Mendes scoring at OT a few years back and not being given despite being miles over the line, now this when 2 nil up. All too coincidental.

Utd should have been putting us under pressure for the entire contest considering it was a must win game. The reality was until that penalty they were comfortably second best in every area. What happens ? They are given a goal, back in the game, the crowd and the players lift and Spurs visibly deflated and gave up, I don't blame them, it was disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
Further, thats our past 2 away games robbed from us. 1 up at Blackburn with 10 minutes left, a man sent off for nothing, we lose 2-1 and then that utterly corrupt scenario at Old Trafford. Football is impossible to take seriously when Utd are constantly given results, it really is bad.
Anybody seriously believe that penalty would have been given at the other end ? Not a cat in hells chance. Webb is a disgrace and should be made to answer for it.
