If he were to sign for Madrid, what would that mean of Sergio Ramos? Would he be playing at CB alongside Pepe as I can't see Cannavaro staying after this season with Milan, Spurs and Man City all interested in him. Or would Ramos be shipped out?

He was probably going to go at the end of the season anyway, but its strange timing doing it now. I can't see anyone else getting much more out of what is a pretty awful team.

As you were at the top then with both winning, though Sevilla lost at home against Getafe, big three points for them - Betis, Osasuna and Mallorca were other big winners at the bottom to move away a little.

Malaga won at Villarreal and Atlético won at Deportivo to mean the battle for the 4th Champions League and UEFA spots is as clear as ever, Valencia's late winner at Gijon means they've got their nose in front now, and Sporting still haven't drawn a game this season.
