Anyone heard the new rumours about Terry?

If true, and I take the rumours with a large pinch of salt, he could be in deep trouble.

I've heard a few of the Terry rumours that will be "released over the next few weeks". Will be interesting to see if any actually do.

Personally I think he shoudl have the captaincy taken away from him otherwise every press conference betwen now and during the world cup will be a shambles and it will become a major distraction for the team. It's just not worth the risk.

I think he should resign it for the exact same reasons we dont need any more distractions, Im sure there will be plenty more along the way

It will be interesting to see what reception Bridge gets at Hull, sympathy or mickey taking? Quite a lot was made of the stick that Terry received there, but that would be shown to be meaningless unless Bridge gets a good reception.

As for the captaincy thing over Terry and England..I'm not really fussed but lets face it, who are you going to give it too? Contenders would be Rooney, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard and Ferdinand? Possibly all, apart from Lampard, have previous themselves in other ways, none of them are angels.

I expect Rooney to be the new captain, if there is a new one. I dunno, I just feel that only he, Ashley Cole and the two centre halves are the only certainties to play. Problem is, Rio's fitness has raised a lot of recent doubts and Ashley Cole epitomizes scum.

If fit then Rio should be the captain, I would have given it to him before JT in the first place tbh. I don't think Rooney will get it, Capello will want him to focus on playing.

Rooney clearly has the press on his side right now. The press love him and if he farts they are clambering to sniff it and describe how wonderful it smells. But they aren't going to be so forgiving the next time he gets himself sent off because he can't control his feet. Has he become a reformed character since his massage parlour days, or is he just lucky that he hasn't been caught yet?
