Wasn't surprised at our loss last night and am a bit concerned about tonight due to Tallet's tendancy to give up the long ball, something the Yankees are managing a lot of this season. Hopefully Sabathia will be having one of his off days and we'll just outscore them.

I don't quite get the smugness from our resident Yank. We've got 3 rookies and a reliever in our starting rotation. That have well over $300M worth of pitchers in theirs and they're still 3.5 games back.

There was a huuuuuuge gap.....well the odd post from June to October, nowhere near as much as early season, thats my point..you start okay then disappear, nobody cares about the rest of baseball as it's all about us and the red sox.

Another good win yesterday highlights being Papi knocking one to centre and Bay going out of the ground.

Can't help but but think the sweep is inevitable now with yet another Rookie going tonight. Wonder if Cito will jiggle the rotation a bit for next weekend. We've got Thursday off which might mean Richmond gets pushed to the Friday. Depending on how Ray goes tonight he could skip Cecil and go straight to Ray for the Sunday game.

Wish our bats would wake up but I suppose a quiet patch was inevitable. Everyone else seems to have had one. Just a shame ours had to come in Boston!
