Merriman is a class player. That said i can't stand him at all but he would no doubt improve our D.

I'm a little confused. While we are in desperate need for depth at receiver (we only had 2 that could actually play at one point during the game on Sunday). However, linebacker is another position where we're woefully thin in terms of depth. I suppose the fact that Spoon is pushing 30 and has been quiet so far this season when compared to previous years then it makes a little more sense but we're getting younger and younger.
