I read, although i can't remeber where, that his agent was asking for more money than Eli but Rivers stepped in and said he'd accept that offer. Although it is a smaller contract, he is guaranteed more money than Eli.

That just makes me like him even more then and lets face it he can always re do his deal in a few years and will more than likely be the best qb in the league after Brady and Manning retire so he will be the highest paid qb too

Thigpen to the Jaguars would be good as he's no chance in Kansas City.

He's a very underrated QB imo, also the first player ever from his college to even get drafted.

I feel sorry for Thigpen, he is a decent QB. I'd certainly like him as our back up and he is no worse than Cassell, if anything he's better.
