Indeed but it was still sold beautifully.
Even Down to the biting his own lip for the blood effect.

| So once in a lifetime is likely to be twice within a year.
Super.
But I'm excited about WM29.
If it is Rock v Cena...what other matches will take place?
ADR v Orton?
Ziggler v Y2J?
Taker v ???
Lesnar v HHH?
Big Show v Ryback?
Supposed rumours at present, anyway.

Rock v Cena 2 is annoyingly predictable. Certainly wont be buying the ppv.
As for the Rumble I actually enjoyed it. The matches weren't great but the rumble itself was pretty entertaining with some great surprising entrances spots (my favourite being the Kane / Daniel Bryan elimination)

Opps I guess I just did.
I knew what it will lead in at WM but in that second I didn't give a stuff about that I just enjoyed the moment.

| Think I'm one of the few that was disappointed when The Rock didn't pass the torch to Cena, so I'm actually happy about how all this has panned out!

| The Rumble was pretty weak. As soon as Cena won it I knew Rocky would be taking the belt off Punk. Good way for the WWE to make Punk look weak by him dropping the title from an elbow drop.
Pushing for Punk/Taker at WM now.

| This weeks Raw was a strange one.
On one hand there was some awful moments, Tensai and Brodus, the divas match etc.....
But then there was some absolute classics. CM Punks opening promo Bo Dallas getting a shock win (123 Kid throwback there), The Rocks speech (can't work out whether I'm a fan of Rocks or not but this was a strong moment) then his clash with Punk (loved Punks subtle line about the rocks schedule) also the Paul Heyman section at the end (Heyman is fantastic as a manager)
All in all one of the more enjoyable Raws.

You can see Stephanie coming onto one of the coming shows to have a go at Heyman and Lesnar for attacking her Dad...Lesnar will then get abusive and taunt her about beating HHH at Summerslam,HHH will then come out a brawl starts..Match for Mania is made... Or something like that..

And being bared from certain arena's by WWE and their fun contracts they hold with a number of big arena's round the states which means they can block other wrestling shows from being shown there on certain dates.

| I'd mark out if Punk won the strap back from Rocky to face Cena at WM29, allowing the People's Champ to say his goodbyes on RAW the next night, only to be interrupted by the Dead Man who would point to the Wrestlemania banner above them.
That would be a more profitable Mania than any other scenario, surely!

Certainly make things far more interesting than having the predictable Cena v Rock rematch.

| Well they've finally got rid of the spinner belt.
The Rock showed off the new belt on Raw last night.
Still looks tacky to me.

| Prefer the spinner belt. The belts they had in the late 90s were awesome. Shame they couldn't revert to something like that.
They're leaving it late to build up feuds for Mania - thought we'd have got some clues as to the mid-card last night.
They've done great things with Swagger though, if you take aside the racism of his manager that is!

| Well it's 6 weeks until Mania and the way it's shaping up isn't looking like it's the biggest show of the year.
Cena Vs Rock II - Think we all know how that's going to go.
Del Rio Vs Swagger - Really think it's time they binned the World Title. They've pretty much done away with the brand extension, so why do they still need 2 world champs?
And that's about it for confirmed matches.
There are rumours that there's going to be a HHH vs Lesnar match, but I can't see that being anything but poor. Lesnar was never the technical mat general and his last match against Cena was hardly a 5* classic.
Then there's the "who's going to be the guy who jobs out to the one match a year guy" also known as the Undertaker streak match. Punk is the name that's getting talked about for this match, assuming that Taker is actually able to wrestle.

The reason is the fact that Punk clobbered Cena and interrupted Rock when he was clearly about to state he preferred Cena.
If it was going to be Cena V Rock II then Punk would have been quickly put in his place and forgotten.
He is STILL in the middle of a feud only now it is with Rock and Cena plus there will be fall out over McMahon Vs Hayman to add to the situation.

They're blowing off the Punk/Cena/Rock thing on next monday's Raw. Cena vs Punk for the WM main event spot. Cena will beat Punk clean and it's Rock vs Cena II for the title and Cena gets the belt back after not having it for over a year and then likely goes on to beat Punk's record.
The McMahon Vs Hayman thing is likely to lead to HHH vs Lesnar.
