Add that to his gash bowling performance in his other overs and i'd say he was our worse player.

not a great last over, but what were they chasing 7 or something, that's not his fault, it would have been 'get out of jail' if england had got anything out of it at that point.
Holland put England under pressure in the field from ball one, clattering those that were there to be clattered, and taking ones and two off virtually every other delivery -. smart cricket from the novices.

| As usual in limited overs cricket, England fielded a scratch team: players totally unestablished in the team in unfamiliar positions: Morgan at 4, Key at 6 -what was that all about. Morgan's reverse sweep was a toal embarrassment. We just don't have a cohesive unit.
If we hadn't faffed about, the middle order would have pulverised Holland after a solid start by Bopara & Wright. Why so many new boys? We took them lightly and paid for it.

| You just knew we were in trouble when KP wasn't in the side!
I bet he could have played aswell but they thought 'sod it, it's only Holland'. Well they look like a right set of mugs now!!
We simply don't have enough big hitters in the side. We hit zero 6's whilst Holland managed 4! Just about sums it up.

| Though there were some terrible individual England perfomers (I use the term lightly) in the field, the batting wasn't too bad.
Well done Holland, I say. Terrific run chase and a thoroughly deserved win.

You really are clueless aren't you?
Sure he was $hite in this game, which for many isn't even seen as cricket.
But FFS, Broad has been one of, if not the, stand out performer for England in the past year. Give the lad a fooking break. We shouldn't be relying on run outs to beat Holland anyway.

| If anybody gave the game away bowling it was Rashid and his 36 runs.I thought Broads last over was quite good,he had a chance for a c&b and 2 chances for a run out,but i'm wondering is where was the leadership to say don't throw the ball away before he bowled the final ball.
For me I would get rid of Collingwood and give Key the captaincy as he lead Kent to the title last season and has far more knowledge of how to play this style of cricket than Collywobble.

| It took an eternity to set up the field for the last ball. There seemed to be total confusion as to whether they were trying to save the one or saving two. In the end they all seemed to be in two minds which might have explained Broad's rash throw.

3 missed run outs and a missed catch in that last over was poor though, if he's put in that position again, you'd like to think hed put things right but i thought his last poor attempt would have made up for the previous 2.
plenty of throwing at the wicket in practice is very well needed!

| F*cking hell, you'd think Broad was the only fielder to ever miss run-outs and drop catches. How many run-out attempts do actually hit the stumps?!
One loss in a pointless, tin-pot trophy and everyone spits their dummy out. Who says Twenty20 brings out the worst of the 'cricketing' world?

No real shock. If they'd gone off the full 20 overs they'd have been all out with overs to spare batting like that after an explosive start. As it is, the ludicrously short number of overs means they could get away with it.
I'd still back New Zealand to knock them off.

Which they do in six overs.
Never thought I'd see the day England would lose at Lords to Holland, even at 20/20, can't see why some are getting so worked up about it though and lambasting Broad, it's not like it matters.
