| That's one of the biggest whoopings I've seen in my life. I couldn't quite believe how out of his depth he looked against a fighter I've never heard of. I'm not sure where he goes from here tbh, but a world title fight is light years away.

I don't know how much they paid Frank Warren for the Khan contract, but i did read that Sky planned to put all his fights on PPV.
They must be slightly gutted that his stock is now that of an undercard fighter on friday fight night.

Instead of adverts between rounds of a proper fight I think!

Harsh on Hamed, who was decent. At least he could compete at world level and lost to a modern great.

The idiots on here that compare Khan to Hamed shouldn't even be on this thread, Hamed could take a punch and was never stopped even when tagged by World Class hitters.
I said earlier in this thread Khan was a bully at British level, at World he is distnictly average - you need two things in boxing, ability and a chin, unfortuately for Khan the latter is made from glass!!

| On SSN, Khan was saying he is still in the Top 10 in the world!
x a lot.
Perhaps statistically, but in reality he isn't in the top 100.

Glass? On last nights basis I'd say more like paper!
Agree with the comments just made about Naseem Hamed, he was different class to Amir Khan, or Amir Khan't. He went 35 (correct me if I'm wrong) unbeaten before a points decision to a true great in Barrera.
He also didn't lose his head in the ring, unlike Khan who steamed in last night. Plus, I don't think people are giving Breidis Prescott enough credit, he delivered his promise to knock Khan out within 3 rounds, his record over his career is phenomenal.

| I loved seeing Khan getting knocked out, absolutely loved it, the way he moonwalked after being tagged and then the way he crawled on his hands and knees in the corner, brilliant viewing!!
He is without doubt, the single most overrated, overhyped glass jawed loser ever - the only sad thing is the amount of money he sucked out of the general and paying public - never has one man ever made so much for doing so little!!

It was easy for him last night. But I think Prescott could go places. He looks pretty handy.

| Hard to tell from 54 seconds but Prescott could go somewhere in that division IMO. Khan won't his punch tolerance I'm afraid just isn't there.

The warning signs have been there in the past and tonight has rubber stamped it. He's got a glass jaw and will never win anything above a British title.'"
His last couple of fights against Limmond and Gomez were questionable, sure he beat them but not after making extreme hard work of it. We all knew he couldnt take a punch after the Gomez fight particularly when he had Kahn wailing like a girl.
I had never heard of Prescott until this fight, but putting Kahn in with someone who is unbeaten and knocked the vast majority of his opponents out didnt sound like smart business to me, particularly on his PPV debut.
The fact that Frank Warren publically stated he didnt know much about Prescott was embarrasing and this is now another nail in his coffin. Amir, Enzo and Audley ... great rota you've got there Frank.

Alex Arthur, who was being lined up for Marco Antonio Barrerra, also lost his world title. Frank's route back to Vegas is blocked again. It's a good job the Arthur v Guzman bout didn't happen; Guzman would have busted him up.

| Decent fight on Saturday/Sunday on Setanta: Nate Campbell vs Joan Guzman. Timothy Bradley, Junior Witter's conqueror, is also on the bill. Bit gutted they, nor any other channel, didn't plump for Joel Casamayor vs. Juan Manuel Marquez instead.

Will definitely be watching that one, great fighter is Guzman and has all the tools to get the job done IMO. 2/3 to win by decision is the bet of the year so far for me and I'll be filling my boots for sure.

Guzman is quality. He's trained by Floyd Mayweather Snr aswell, so it may be worth watching if you're a Hatton fan to see how he gets the best out of his fighters.
