Tim was maybe not particularly likeable but at least he wasn't as hateful!

Surely he can't play that badly again.
Can he?

He isn't a robot you know bad games to come around. If this was henman everyone would be praising him for showing great character and being resilient.

Considering one of the men that you think would beat Murray 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, the undisputed best ever player in the world, Roger Federer has lost far more matches to Murray than he has beaten him, then one would suggest that the standards have plummeted far more than even you would have believed.

| I don't think Murray played poorly it was just that Stan was absolutely outstanding in virtually eveything he did. IMO Murray needed a match like that, it will toughen him up for the matches ahead of him. I think he will beat Ferrero and then have a monumental clash with Roddick before a mouthwatering final against Federer.
Anyone doubting the quality of the top ten obviously does not watch much tennis. There are some outstanding players in the ten in both mens and womens. If Murray wins Wimbledon he won't be far off no.1 in the world.

| Womens quarters today.
In the Mens Federer has drawn the serving freak that is Ivo Karlovic. I hope he doesn't just get battered, although Federer himself has a great record in tie-breaks.

I would not be surprised to see all the sets decided in tie breaks tbh. The tie of the round in the mens has to be Roddick v Hewitt.

| Great win for Murray. Stan was terrific for virtually the whole match.
I'm still backing Roddick.

| I think Roddick is a good shout too.
Murray was playing the 18th seed, who had 3 wins (to Murray's four-now five) against him yesterday. Was by no means an easy match.

| I fancy Haas, Hewitt to progress tommorrow. I fancied Hewitt to get to the final after seeing him at Queens a few week ago. He has just improved since then and really fancy him to turn over Roddick tommorrow.
Karlovic could even cause an upset, you just never know.

Andy Murray is 2nd match on Centre tomorrow, following Karlovic and Federer.
The winner of Murray/Ferrero plays the winner of Hewitt/Roddick in the semis.

| Going to put my neck on the line here....
I can't honestly see past a Federer v Murray final.....Murray is in the easier half of the draw, and it'd take a major effort from any of Ferrero, Hewitt or Roddick to stop him....Those criticising his performance last night need to remember one thing...This was Murray playing at about 50% of his best - he will not play as bad again, and also Stan was playing out of his skin, especially in the first set and a half, when he would have outplayed even Federer or Nadal with the tennis he was playing.
As for tomorrow's games??...Murray in straight sets, Roddick in 4, Federer in 4, Djokovic in straight sets.....

| At the start of the tournament, I had a smaller wager on Hewitt to win and get to the final. Can't see him winning it, but I honestly feel he can get to the final now.
If he beats Roddick today, anything can happen imo.
Some cracking ties on this afternoon, and I cannot wait.

| Federer polishes off Karlovic in 3. If you can get his serve back, he's nothing else to offer.
So Murray gets to start around 3 pm rather than 6 pm.
Haas is 2 close sets up on Djokovic.
Laura Robson has equalised sets, but has had the trainer on.
