Interesting one in the first at Chepstow today, Ruby going there for just the one ride... King Fontaine... currently available around 3/1, only had the four runs but looks to have been fancied and backed on just about all it's runs, so clearly must have some ability.

Nicholls has been nowhere near the form of last season IMO where he was regularly cleaning up on Saturday afternoons with countless number of winners, still a combination I'd prefer to be with than against though Nicholls/Walsh and this one caught my eye when looking through the cards this morning..

Anyone else bet on the golf and feel a bit cheated when you get more than 5 players in the places and what could have been a 50/1 winner only pays out at 11.75/1?

I know they are the rules but it just feels harsh!

It's like that for everything RD - if there were a 3 way dead heat for 2nd place in SL (everything identical) you'd get 1/3 of your stake as 2/3s was a losing bet.

Does seem harsh but can't expect the bookies to pay out to everyone on everything



Flanagan in the last at Stratford - 4's with Stan James is a good bet. Fav has poor form and he's from a top and underated yard. Get some Cheltenham money in.
