Favre improves the Vikes but not as much as people seem to be suggesting. He's declined a lot in the last few years.

Either way with Favre it will be:

We'll see. The bears have Tommy Harris back to full fitness and the defence will be much improved with the help of Marinelli also have a QB for the first time in 16 years. September 13th isn't long away.

There is no way on this earth that Green Bay are finishing above the Vikings. You can probably throw a blanket over the rest (Lions outsiders, clearly) but the Vikings will win the division.

As for Favre - is he better than Jackson and Rosenfels? Of course he is. Absolute no brainer.

Why not. I like our chances, to suggest we are even close to finishing lower than Detroit is beyond stupid.



They have a shot, definately, but it isn't clear cut.

Green Bay- We have the best offence in the division. If our defence can come good soon and get pressure on the QB which has been completely rubbish outside of Kampman. Our DB's are the best best in the division, so with pressure we'll get picks.

Vikings- Best RB in all of the NFL. Not the best recievers but OK. Good front seven with the Williams Wall and Allen (i believe he is injured though?). The back seven is average and suceptable in the pass.

Chicago- Cutler has upset Hester and Urlacher has called him a pussycat minus the cat. Forte is good, but as for Cutler, when one of your recievers is Enrique Inglesias you know your in trouble. Ageing defence and again suceptable to the pass.

Detroit- With the first pick in the 2010 NFL draft the Detroit Lions select....


If we had a solid defence then i'd definately put us at one in the division, as it is i think we have a shot to match the Vikings and i think we have an easier schedule.




Yes he's better. However he's gone down hill alot, hasn't finished a season well for a while and went 22 TD's and 22 INT's last year. Had surgery in the off-season and will have little chemistry with his team mates to start off with. As much as i'm a Favre fan obviously there are questions over a 40 year old QB.

It's definately going to be interesting and going forward it'll be an excellent division QB wise with Rodgers, Cutler and Stafford. No doubt Favre will still be going at 60.

Seeing as the Packers are so good, I'm amazed they didn't have a winning record.

We have an excellent offence but our defence needs work. We lost i think four games by a small amount of points. Another year of Rodgers means he'll be more confident and reliable to bring us back in the 4th quarter, which we didn't do this season.

The best recieving corps in the division and top 5 in the league.

The best defensive backs in the division, Woodson led the league in INT's last year (i think). Our issue is pressure. All our draft was geared towards that with Raji, Matthews and Wynn. Get the pressure and our DB's will do the work.

IF we come good defence wise we will win the division. If we don't then i'm still confident of second in the division.

We still have all the players from our 13-3 season.

You don't have Brett Favre.

Erm, apart from the most important player on the team...who has just signed for the Vikings.

A winning record would be progress for the Packers. Anything else a bonus. If you win the Division that'll be an amazing achievement.

Another year older, slower and with a dicky throwing arm - and it's not like he was putting up MVP numbers last year with the Jets...

I think Favre was doing well but he picked up the shoulder problem then wouldn;t have the surgery.

He was important to us then, yes. He is dramatically worse now than then. We are possibly better in areas.



A winning record is the minimum i think. Winning the division would be very good. Winning the superbowl would be amazing.

That's what I'd predict, it will be difficlut as you have the best receiving core in the division but the 3rd best running back and quarterback.

We wont be going 2-4 in the division. I think home wins against Chicago and the Vikings is reasonable and to be defeated away with a sweep of the Lions.

Not sure 10-6 will be enough to stop the Vikings winning this division. Quite a reasonable estimation of your results though. Apart from maybe opening day, I reckon you may well get the rest 100% correct.

Definately. Maybe not the division with the most quality or attention but definately one of the most competitive. I'd like to think 3 teams in the play-offs but i'd think the NFC East will provide a wild card team (Eagles).
