| Well Murray is officially the last Brit in it. And we are only part way through the second round.

| Roddick through in 4.
Murray should be on shortly as Wozniacki is giving Kirilenko a right pasting. I wish.

How boring are you?
Talking of boring, I wish the BBC would show John Inverdale the door. He's such a cock; completely full of himself and never seems to have much of a clue.

| Federer first up on Centre at 13.00. Djokovic third on. Serena is a set up already.
Down to last 32, and theoretically seeds playing lower seeds.

I'd be surprised if he serves at 70%+ again in the tournament tbh. It's how well he copes when he's having to bang a higher percentage of second serves in that could dictate how far he goes.

| Murray 3rd up on Centre again, so could be looking at 5 or 6 pm again. Depends how long Roddick takes against Melzer beforehand.
Brilliant match last night between Tommy Haas and Marin Cillic. They had to come off for bad light with the score at 6 - 6 in the last set, both having had match points.
It's a bit of a lottery now as either could just win with a minimum of 2 games. The momentum and dynamic is completely different to last night.

| Haas wins it 10 - 8. Deserved it.
6th seed Jelena Jankovic bottles it for a change against 17 year old American qualifier Mel Oudin. Ana Ivanovic had her head on for a change and won surprisingly easily against Aussie Sam Stosur.

| Roddick drops the third 6-4 after taking the first two in tie breaks.
I still feel there's not enough variety in Roddick's game to challenge the top four. Not comfortable at the net, and playes far too much behind the base line which you ca't get away with on grass against the best.
If Murray can get his first serve % up there against Roddicks if/when they meet in the semis, I'm confident he can beat him.

| Roddick is still pretty much just a big serve artist. I don't enjoy watching pure big serve/no rally battles at all. My nightmare match would be Roddick vs Karlovic. No breaks of serve and four sets going to a tie-break, then the last, over a period of 5 and a half hours.

NO! He is Scottish in my mind, just as he likes it unless the English are backing him!

Last 16. Potentially some cracking matches today, both men and women.
Murray is 3rd up on Centre again, vs Wawrinka. Stan is no mug, and is reigning Olympic doubles champion with Federer. Andy usually has his number....

That's a suprise! Although on the plus side, it does mean the BBC will be able to show his match as people are arriving home from work. Amazing coincidence don't you think?
Just moving that on further, there was talk on 5Live on Saturday about the scheduling of matches, especially in the womens game where some of the top seeds hadn't even made it to number 1 court, never mind centre. However, games featuring 2 leggy blond teenagers had miraculously found their way onto Centre Court. Now, I'm not complaining, but I do feel the likes of Safina can feel rather hard done to.

| The Williams sisters blitz their way into the last 8, especially Venus who was giving Ana Ivanovic such a thumping she decided she was injured and packed in. She and Jankovic seem very brittle mentally, and they're always calling the trainer out, at critical times. Allegedly.
Federer seems to be doing just enough to beat Soderling. He's won 2 sets (just) and approaching crunch time in the third.

| 1 tie-break each for Verdasco and Karlovic. Quelle surprise.
Please knock him out, Fernando.
Hewitt looks like he's going. Djokovic looks like he's staying.
