Ive done an e/w Double and the first as just finished 3rd @ 16/1, just waiting for the second horse now.

Hope the Hull KR win taught some people a few lessons about putting 1/9 or 1/12 shots in accumulators. Lunacy.

Another case of lunacy is backing against your own team. With Wakefield ravaged by injuries and struggling for halfbacks and with a short 5 day turnaround from last week I feared the worst tonight. Unfortunately I didn't take into account how poor Warrington are at the moment.

I had a £40 double... The first leg was Fairyland which I backed at 11/4 so I had £150 going on Warrington at 5/6 off scratch.

Lesson learned!

I'd say if Whiteoak goes to the Champion Quevega will be a 3/1 shot on the day, with Whiteoak in the field she's a 4/1 shot.

She's been very well tipped up at the previews so IMO it'll continue to shorten - there was some 11/2 with Coral and Hills earlier today mind.

United is in the race also but the form of Quevega's third to Grivette and Hurricane Fly is IMO the best form on offer in the race by some way.

Grivette - won 4 on the spin since pulling up in November
Hurricane Fly - enough said
Quevega - easy winner at Punchestown last week

There's G1 placings all the way down the field and graded hurdle wins too.

As you say though United definitely has a chance - though I see her more as a handicapper than a legitimate G1/2 horse.
