| In my fantasy team I have Manning and Mendenhall, I dropped them both. All over to AP and Sidney Rice now to pull me out of the fire and pull of a miracle win. I'm 6 points behind and he has Favre, Nicks and Tynes left to play.
My only hope is that Favre only throws the ball to Rice and AP runs lots.

| Was confused as to why Offiah is on 5 but then all became clear with his book.
So who will we take at #1? I know very little about the college game, just what you fellas say. Apparently the QB class is weak and some guy called Suh is a bit special? Where do you guys get all this college knowledge?

From watching it and reading up on it.
Rams will go Jimmy Clausen from Notre Damme. You need a QB. Suh is immense but i don't think you go that way and get a lineman for the third year in succession. Clausen is the best in the class, whether he is deserving of going that high is a different question.
I don't think you can wait for a QB and go Suh. Jake Loker (who IMO was the #2 QB) has gone back to college so it then becomes Tebow, McCoy, Bradford who i don't rate and will probably be gone before your second pick.
Suh is the better player but you go Clausen IMO.

The most frustrating team in the league to support, without a doubt.

I still think if we get the number 1 pick (which is looking likely after last night) we go Suh. He's looking like one of those players you don't pass up on regardless of need (and defensive tackle is a definite need). We 've generated little to no pressure on the defensive line and that affects the whole defense. Suh will give us a chance to improve a unit that has showed a lot of promise this season despite our record.
Offensively we've been anaemic this season but we're playing players who were on the practice squad at the beginning of the season on both sides of the ball. I just get the feeling that picking Clausen at #1 would be one of those decisions that comes back to bite us

Seriously though Aaron Rodgers 43 points You just cant compete with that unlucky

| The Chargers are one win away from the no 2 seed in the AFC. If you'd have told me that after the defeat to Denver I'd of laughed in your face! Now look at us. 9 straight, close to a 1st round bye and Norv calling games absolutley perfectly! I am praying for an AFC championship game @ Indy. That would be amazing!

I agree with you in general. Suh is dominant, i think he could be the next Warren Sapp type dominant player and that is who i'd take, but i just don't see it. Your a Rams fan so maybe you know more, but i just get the feeling you'll go in a new direction and go Clausen and not spend it on a 3rd lineman in 3 years. Kind of like the Lions. QB wasn't the biggest need, but it signifies change.
As for us, assuming we are picking in the late 20's i think we go Offensive Line first, there are a couple of guys who i like, particularly Bulaga who hopefully would fall to us. Other than that i want Toby Gerhart to be our RB, hopefully we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd.

| Despite dropping Manning and Mendenhall, having Stewart on my bench as well who got more points than both my running backs. I'm still in the lead! Only by 5 points though and he has two players to come. What's the chances of Nicks and the Giants kicker not getting 5 points between them?

Oh, I'm not saying I'm right, we could easily go for either player and I wouldn't be surprised. As I've mentioned previously, over the last 10 years we've picked up defensive tackles in the first round almost as frequently as Detroit have picked wide receivers and most of them didn't work out and a question mark over Carriker still, so we might see a change with the QB pick.
I've not seen enough of Clausen to warrant saying we shouldn't pick him but I've not been over-awed by what I have seen and I can't help but think that some of his hype may be a product of the national [iw[/iank off that half of America has over Notre Dame.
Free agency will obviously change draft boards too but it's going to be another big off season.

Excellent play IMO.
It would be the best ever it they had scored. Loving the protection though, Smith got more protection on that play than Rodgers did to start the year.

| Any predictions on who's going to get the 2 wildcard slots from the AFC then, with at least 8 teams all with a chance of getting in and 6 of them all at 7-7???
I dont know who has to play who yet but on current form I'd predict Baltimore to claim one of them with, hopefully, my Jets sneaking the other one!
edit...just checked and Pittsburgh's remaining 2 games are against Baltimore and Miami so that will sort them out one way or the other!
And the Jets are playing the Colts and the Bengals so I've given up right now for this season...as ever!

We have scored two TD;s from Hunter Smith this year on similar but less bizarre trick plays.
The sad thing is that is about as much protection as Jason Campbell and Todd Collins got from our line last night. We were gutless. Went to bed at half time. Thoroughly beaten in every single aspect of the game.
