Great match Taylor v Webster, disappointed Taylor lost but is he the same player? The 105-118 averages seem to have gone or maybe he has just had or is having a bad spell?

Brilliant Webster tonight, superb performance and fully deserved his win. had him at 5/1 for tonight and got him ew at 33/1 overall. He's been really consistent so far, scoring well and finishing brilliantly. Be a tough game against Lewis tomorrow night but I like the semi lineup and would be happy to see any of them lift the trophy.

Taylor looked nowhere near his peak tonight but played exactly the same as he has been throughout, the draw opened up for him with Wright and Laursen winning and had he played someone of Nicholson or Part's calibre earlier on he may well have been out earlier. I don't think he's dropping Paul, it's just a blip for me, he has had a few family issues leading up to this tournament and it seems to have played on his game and his mind.

Taylor is out, thank goodness.

Well said, mate. My thoughts exactly, I can't understand why people want Taylor to win it year on year. Different winners of all the majors make the tournaments much more exciting and much better to watch. The top 16 is now that good we really could have many different winners over the next few years.

I enjoyed the Newton -Jenkins game more , The Anderson - Barney game didn't live up to it's hype in the end. Pretty straight forward for the scot.

Anderson's hit 10 180's, I think it was, he averaged 78 after the first set yet finished on 102 so he must've been well up in the 109, 110 area for the remainder of the match. He played his part in it, Barney didn't.
