| Rendall Munroe beaten in a great little fight.....Certainly 119-109 all round was a bit harsh for me.....Nishioka was very classy, but Munroe rarely looked out of his depth.....Hope he can get another chance, perhaps on home soil next time.

Yes, he certsinly wasn't disgraced, but Nishioka was very good.....One of those relatively unknown fighters that if he came from the US or UK then he'd be raved about by Boxing fans....Very fast hands, which ultimately was the main difference between the pair.

| Groves' fight is off! Not the first time this has happened either, last time he got stalled by Volcanic ash, this time his opponent has failed the eye test.

He's still on the Haye-Harrison undercard though. Although the rest of the card looks 5hit.

| Not long until Haye-Harrison now, I just wondered what everybody's views and predictions are??
Personally, if you strip away all the talk and hype, I don't honestly see how Audley Harrison can win this fight.
Haye is a fast, hard-hitting heavyweight and is a very good technical boxer, Audley has nice, fast hands, but, overall, is relatively slow and cumbersome about the ring, doing most things at snail's pace.
People question Haye's chin, yet that is debatable....He's never been knocked spark out (something that can't be said about Harrison), his defeat against Carl Thompson, which is often brought up in an attempt to detract from his record, was all about a naive novice running out of gas and his corner showing mercy and getting him out of there before he got badly damaged.
As for Harrison, this is actually a massive step up in class as he has been basically fighting at domestic level for most of his career. Compare this to Haye, who has been fighting at world level for the last 4 years.
The only thing that can defeat Haye on Saturday night is under preparation....If Haye is really up for this, it should be pretty one-sided and I see it being over by rounds 6 or 7, with the likelihood being the ref stopping Harrison taking a prolonged beating on the ropes.....

| I think it'll mirror their last two bouts.
Either Haye will win by First Round K-O or Harrison will win with a late left hook in the 10th.
Haye 1st
Harrison 10th.
I'll go for the former.

| Haye in round 1 or 2 ko... if he jumps on harrison he could go into his shell and haye can get him out of there
got 10/1 for this
harrison is a natural heavyweight and wouldnt surprise me if he caught haye in the later rounds with a ko aswell 7/1 for this

| Will a Haye win set up a clash v one of the Klitchko's? Or is Haye 'avoiding' them.

More a case of politics keeping them apart....The Klitchsko's are a business team and everything they do is as a partnership, despite the fact they will never ever fight one another.
Haye, quite rightly in my opinion, refuses to be drawn into their web, which involves countless rematches against either brother, if you should dare be good enough to remove either, or both, of their titles.
Its such a shame for Heavyweight boxing, because Haye does have the talent to create some sort of legacy, but with the robot brothers about, its more likely this tarnished division will continue to be a sad joke.
P.S.....Talking of the days of great HW bouts, last night I was watching a re-run of the Holyfield-Bowe title bout (2nd one) from 1993 on ESPN Classic....Fantastic fight, can remember watching it live, but what I need to know is why did they cut the infamous 7th round from the re-run, when the crazy guy in the hang-glider contraption causes a near riot by flying into the ring??....Surely they haven't banned that???...

Yes, and has I pointed out a little earlier, if he were to somehow win, he'd be tied to the Klitchsko's for the next 2 years until they got their belts back....
I fully accept he is 'avoiding' them, but certainly not because he is scared of them.....I mean Wladamir??....Who could be scared of a man who's frightened of taking a punch from his own shadow??....

| i have this argument all the time with people. Haye is not and never will be scared of the Kiltshckos he showed when he went over and fought Valuev. Fair enough hes no as good as vitali but he was just as much as a danger as wladimir. The contracts they have offered haye are bordering on laughable 2 rematches in germany yeah right which boxer would agree too them. IMO the only reason Chisora is fighting is cause he knows he aint got a chance asnd hes in it for the money.

He'd be foolish to turn this fight down. And he's fully justified and entitled to have a couple of sound defences (Ruiz and hopefully Fraudley) before taking on the Klitschko's. Whether he does or not is his decision.
But a sell out crowd, box office event and an all British heavyweight title fight will make the Hayemaker promotion and David Haye himself plenty of money, he's simply looking after number one. I'd expect a Klitschko if he wins tomorrow.

Agree with that. He should just get in the ring with them. For the guy criticising the rematch clauses etc, you do know Haye made sure there was a clause in the contract for this fight that they rematch if Harrison "dares" to beat Haye? The rematch clause is purely business and it's not like there are many other heavyweights for Haye to take on is there? Other than the Klitchsko's who else is there?
