when is jim ross back

JR has said even he doesn't know about his future in wrestling. He is working on some other projects along with his business doing really well though.

When HBK does have his retirement match I reckon he would probably want it to be against HHH (as would HHH I'd imagine).

Must say have seen much better Royal Rumble events. Glad Edge won though.



Re the James storyline though, despite her winning the belt it all made for very uncomfortable viewing. If I was her I'd tell WWE to shove it (

) and go have great matches with Hamada, Tara etc.

It makes a change for the WWE to consider doing something that makes people feel uncomfortable rather than being a Disney version of professional wrestling.

The whole Lita pregnancy and miscarriage thing, Zach Gowen etc - WWE used to be that little bit edgy (and sometimes beyond the boundaries of good taste) and IMO all the better for it.

Have to disagree mate - you can be edgy without having to make fans feel uncomfortable/awkward watching. Austin flipping the bird and swearing all the time was edgy but it (hopefully) didn't upset anyone. What they're doing with James is basically bullying, and if it was in any other workplace they'd be in serious s**t for it. They can't even hide behind "it's just entertainment" because I doubt anyone would claim it to be an entertaining angle.
IMO it's disgusting treatment of a woman who has worked very hard to become a reliable and popular performer the last 4-5 years. Not just that, but she's not even 'piggy' ffs!

She's a very attractive woman in great shape. If this is how they treat her, wtf would they do if they ever (God forbid!) signed Awesome Kong?!


It's angles like this and Katie Vick years ago which make me embarrassed to be a fan sometimes. Presumably they're not going to explain how James is pushed as 'Piggy' whilst Mark Henry is put over as the world's strongest 'athlete'?!

yeah, the piggy james angle pushed it just a little too far in terms of the bullying thing. but that's old fashioned heat. the heels get away with it for awhile but then the face turns the tables and beats them and ends standing tall as the winner

The thing I find really amazing is that Michelle McCool has gone along with the angle - I read that she has admitted suffering from anorexia years ago, so assumed if that's the case that she'd (understandably) be sensitive about any kind of eating disorder angle. She could quite easily have refused to do the angle, and I doubt very much she would have received any kind of punishment (as she's seeing The Undertaker AFAIK

).
In any case, wtf do her and Layla contribute to WWE?!

Seriously, what I've seen of them they are talentless in the ring. While TNA has a long way to go, one thing that WWE cannot touch them on is women's wrestling, it's rare to see a bad match on TNA (from what I manage to catch), whereas WWE there just seems few women in comparison who can put on a decent match.

Yep, unsuprisingly the brain child of those morons Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara, who played the character "Oklahoma". Wasn't so much the get up that was sick, or repeating the same word 3/4 times that Ross does, it was the fact that they made a mockery of his Bells Palsy, and everytime the camera cut to Ferrara, it showed him talking with only one side of his face.
