The tackle from Gilles Binya on Scott Brown was appaling and it's a miracle he hasn't broken his leg, we are in 3rd Position level on points but behind Shakhtar Donetsk on the Head To Head Ruling.

It was worse than Keane on Haaland. It was worse than Souness's classic in the late 80s. In fact it was probably the most disgusting tackle I have ever seen. Things like that deserve a life ban I tell you.

Was a disgusting tackle. It's not often you'll find me sticking up for Scott Brown, but he did very well not to react to that.
Could have easily caused a horrific injury and deserves a lengthy ban.

| It was a miracle he didnt break his leg. A truly awful tackle, which should have him banned for rest of European games plus UEFA cup if they finish third

| Can I recommend a book to all you Scottish football fans (especially those of us who realise there is more to Scotland than the Old Firm).
Heartfelt by Aidan Smith. Smith is a Hibee who crosses Edinburgh to Gorgie and follows the Jambo’s home and away for a season.
Really interesting read and I’d recommend it.
‘Supping Bovril from the Devil’s cup’.
Anyone else read it?

Got it last Christmas, and I'd finished it by early Boxing Day - couldn't put it down as I found it that interesting, particularly his tales of the Euro aways.
Available to buy online from www.hibsshop.co.uk I believe

Actually just read a book that might be of interest to you; The Bobby Johnstone biography. About half of the book is about the Hibs team of the 1950s.

The only place I could find it was in the big book shop on Deansgate. Waterstones I think it is.
Given the amount of goals scored by that Hibs team, possibly the greatest forward line in the history of the Scottish game.

| Quick bump.
Poor performance from Celtic yesterday on a day which should have seen a convincing win.
It resulted in a 1-1 draw.
Celtic's lead is down to two points now and Rangers may be able to capitalise on this due to their game in hand.
Celtic 15 33
Rangers 14 31
Motherwell 16 29
Hibernian 16 26
Dundee United 16 26
Hopefully there'll be a bigger push outside Celtic and Rangers.
Hibs lost 2-0 at Inverness yesterday however,
Motherwell recorded a 2-1 win against Hearts,
Dundee United were unconvincing and lost 3-0 against Falkirk.

A few years ago, two dropped points was almost a disaster but it isn't so much anymore.
You can almost guarantee Rangers will throw in a few stupid defeats or draws away from home and Celtic have an alarming addiction to conceding an opening goal, which was always going to see them come a cropper sooner or later.
I have a fancy the winner of the title is going to have the lowest points total for a Champion for a decade.

| Disgraceful showing from the Hoops today.
The tide is turning on Strachan and that is unfair. Martin O'Neill left him with a team of aged has-beens and he has had to turn it around from that. To be fair he has done and they have won two unexpected titles.
However, this year, it would appear Rangers are getting it gift wrapped. Unless he does something with that shocking back four, he will lose his job, and that's a shame because I think he has done really well so far. However Caldwell, McManus, Pressley et al are simply not good enough and this transfer window really is make or break time for the Hoops Championship chances.

I think you will find more Celtic posts than anyone else.
The fact they haven't played a league game since December does have an affect on these things you know?

A Legend returns, we are still too strong for Celtic IMO. The midweek derby will be interesting on the 23rd.

Indeed it would be fantastic if the 'King of Kings' returned not just for his Goalscoring but for his footballing brain, We seem to be lacking in Defence but the signing of Andreas Hinkel will prove to be a very nice piece of business in my opinion for a bargain £1.9m, i don't know too much about Koki Mizuno but i hear he is a very talented player hopefully he will be just as good if not better than Nakamura. I think we are still lacking a quality striker to link up with Scott McDonald as Vennegoor of Hesselink doesn't really do it for me, I believe if we can get a fit Shunsuke Nakamura until the end of the season i am confident the title will remain at Celtic Park.

Is Rangers v East Stirling a derby now?
Old Firm been cancelled with no feasible date for playing it in the near future.
I'd be very surprised if Celtic were to win the league this year now, but it's not out of the question.
In only one season out of the last seven have Rangers been ahead for a significant stretch in the new year. If that lead gets no more than the real four point gap at present, then the pressure could tell.
As stated months ago, both teams drop far more points than they used to three or four years ago. In a tricky game these days, away from home, you almost expect the big two to slip up now.
Should Celtic drop seven behind, then it's hard to see a way back.

It will not be "the 2nd coming" of King Henrik as he has signed a new deal with Helsingborgs.
