| How have Sky got the fecking cheek to put The Magnificent Seven (basically a bunch of fights that would be on Ringside or Friday Fight Night usually), on PPV?
Anyone bothering to buy this festival of minor title mid-carders?

Well to be fair, on the original bill Rhodes was due to fight for WBC light-middle weight title, and Macklin-Barker was/is a huge domestic fight. Plus the Brook-Jennings fight is an eliminator for the WBO welterweight belt. But I do agree the standard of PPVs is nowhere near as good as it was in the 90s. However, with Hatton retired, and Khan no longer with sky, there is only Haye left for sky to milk.

| Just watched the Maccarinelli knock down from last night. What the hell was the referee doing letting him continue. Could see from the way Enzo was drifting on the wind that the lights were on but noone was home. Awful decision to continue the fight. Hopefully Enzo isn't too badly injured

i agree he was not in a state to continue, that punch knocked his head in about 10 directions!! lucky not to be seriously hurt there.
really good boxing night though
cleverley fight was brilliant, i thought he was going to tire himself out against the tough german but just carried on pulling out more and finally broke murat.. brilliant
chisora kept a good pace up too and stopped sexton easily
degale was and easy night for him, calling out groves now, that will be a fight not to be missed!
hall is finished now, cant live with the next level of fighter.
did you see naseem hamed?? that guy has put some pounds on still the showman though love him

Indeed.
It's been a long time since there's been so many great fights scheduled in such a short space of time. November & December are going to be epic!
6th of November
- Rafael Marquez vs. Juan Manuel Lopez
- Allan Green vs Glen Johnson
13th of November
- David Haye vs. Audley Harrison
- Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito.
- Ricardo Cordoba vs. Rigondeaux
20th of November
- Paul Williams vs Sergio Martinez
27th of November
- Michael Katsidis vs. Juan Manuel Marquez
- Arthur Abraham vs. Carl Froch
- Andre Direll vs. Andre Ward.
11th of December
- Amir Khan vs. Marcos Rene Maidana
18th of December
- Jean Pascal vs. Bernard Hopkins

| What's bugging me at the moment is all the bilge being written about Haroon Khan and his decision to fight for Pakistan. You'd swear he's been the wide-eyed and innocent victim of racist English selectors. But what were they supposed to do - pick a guy ranked NINTH? The whole thing is counter-intuitive anyway as Amir gave the English amateurs such a financial shot in the arm they'd be mad not to include another Khan - on results.
Now that he has a guaranteed medal I'm sure he'll claim vindication. But that's easy after-the-fact. If he was so concerned about fighting for his country he'd have beaten the people he needed to in order to claim the jersey.

Weird. Aside from Marquez v Lopez (and possibly Dirrell v Ward, which isn't going to happen anyway) I don't see too much to get excited about. There are too many over-the-hill crocks, bluffers and one-trick ponies.

You don't think Pacquiao-Plastercheato will be interesting? I'm not a fan of either for different reasons but thats a fight I'm looking forward to.
Katsidis-JMM could well be FOTY, and if the 2nd fight is as good as the first Williams-Martinez fight then I'll have no complaints.

If they think Haye has a big mouth then wait until Chisora gets going I hope Del Boy can do it.
DeGale to fight Paul Smith for British title on the same bill, along with Clev fighting for the WBO title (well depends on whether the German goes to prison). I see its only been confirmed that this bill will be on PPV, with Khan-Maidana being the main event I think.

| Going to have a few weekends in and have a good night out for the Haye fight, can't wait, I am really looking forward to seeing where Haye's heavyweight career is going. Harrison will get beaten like a ginger step child.
