What Carragher did at the weekend was nothing. He had a bit of an argument with a team mate because he didn't feel he was doing his job properly. That, and what he's done previously in his career, doesn't put him close to competing with Barton in the n0bhead stakes.

From what I remember, Carragher had to charge down a shot to stop a good goal scoring opportunity for West Brom. He felt that the player should've been marked by someone else, so he had a right go at that player for not doing his job.

The other player argued back and they pushed each other. Another player came in, a little more shaving and that was it.

Hardly compares with the challenge on Alonso that got Barton banned, does it?

I don't like Liverpool. They're the club I detest most in football. I'd have loved it if Carragher had gone and done something stupid at the weekend. But seeing that incident I was disappointed. It was nothing. It was just a passionate dispute between team-mates which would've been forgotten about completely if it wasn't for supporters and the media making a mountain out of a molehill, as they sadly do with so many incidents nowadays.

any other day of th season apart from yesterday carragher would not have reacted the way he did he just realised he was playing in a pointless match and man utd had won the title the day before he was in a bad mood.

it was stupid really it says that liverpool have kept the same clean sheets if thats what its about then that really is stupid you dont get anything for the amount of clean sheets you get am affraid.
