Do you think Robinho is better than Kinkladze?

| Hiddink should do the business at Chelsea. At international he has taken less attractive to great heights : Australia-Past the group stage in their first World Cup, South Korea-Knocked out Italy and Spain on the way to World Cup semis and Russia-Semis of the Euro's. Also he has won the European Cup with PSV and everything else to win in Dutch football. IMO he is one of the best managers in the world.

We all thought Scolari would, Although i agree Hiddink is one of the best managers in the world and he could get Chelsea back to there best ( although i dont think they will win the PL now ) but have a great chance in the Champions League imo

No. I'm blatently not saying that. What I'm saying is, considering how many world class and international players you seem to have, and how many crap players united and liverpool seem to have according to you, the gulf in class shouldn't be so big. And you shouldn't be scrapping for relegation.

| I'm not quite sure what to think of Hiddink.
I remember when he was the boss of Aus, he had his players training twice as much as every other team, so they'd be the fittest side in the tournament.
Considering Chelsea players have been moaning about Scolari's training, which involves a lot of running, surely Hiddink's training will be just as tough? Also, I can't remember this myself, but what marking system did he use, man or zonal? I don't really see how he's going to change the system, Chelsea have an abundance of quality in the midfield, and not that much firepower up front.

Neither Downing or SWP deserve to be replaced given their recent performance(s) for England.

| To be fair to Downing he was superb on his last outing for England. Why isn't Lampard playing? Is he injured? I like the look of the side. I think finally, we're seeing a bit of depth in England. We're missing Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, Walcott, Ferdinand and Wes Brown who have all been regulars.

To be fair, I think he's done pretty well for both Chelsea and England recently. Although both Carrick and Barry have been in superb form also.
Good to see Capello doesn't juts pick players based on reputation.

When was the last time Carrick played before tonight?
Is this his first appearance under Capello?

It'd certainly be interesting to see a Young/Agbonlahor partnership up front internationally, although with the boy wonder almost ready to come back I can't see them being given a chance long term.

We can't have that.According to the font of all football knowledge EE,Young is having a 'good few weeks' in a Villa side that is having a lucky season so he and the other Villa players can't be good enough for England.

It USED to be once you had played in a FIFA regulated match (the World Cup) then you can't change to anybody else.
If you have only played in a UEFA regulated match (EURO'S) then you can move to a Country in another organisation (CONCACAF for example) but cannot play for anyone else under UEFA.
Owen Hargreaves for example could have played for Canada and then moved to England had he only played in a Friendly or The Gold Cup. Had he played for Germany he would have been unable to play for England.
