| Quote ="Money Mayweather"Khan set to fight Joel Casamayor on July 31st by the looks of things. I think Khan is probably catching Casamayor at the right time. He's 38 now, but he's still got power (he's KOed Katsidis), so he'll still be a tough oponent for Khan.'"
Apparently Jamie Murray wants Khan too, not sure it'll happen mind.

| It's all about the money by the looks of it, both Haye and Harrison's stock have never been higher at this moment in time so it makes sense for them to get it on now before either one of them takes another fight. Haye would wipe the floor with him.

| I can't believe the fight is even being discussed to be honest. David Haye would knock Harrison out within 2 rounds.

| Just watched the Fury/ McDermott rematch .....good battle, low on quality, Fury deserved the win for his better standard of work.
More importantly, at such a young age and with such inexperience, from last night's display it looks of massive importance that Fury finds himself a half decent training set up....It is his obvious raw talent that is getting him through at the moment, his family training set up is bringing nothing to the equation.
I'm not suggesting he is set to be a World Champion, but with his natural size and speed, combined with a bit of brains in his corner, Fury could become a very good heavyweight.

If I were Haye I'd treat Harrison like Typhoid Mary. Stay away - period. It's easy to lampoon Harrison. After all, he's turned in some pretty dreadful displays. [iHeartless[/i displays which have alienated him from all but the most hardcore Harrison supporters. The problem is he's off-the-scale (negatively) on the risk-reward ratio.
Fact. A victory over Harrison will do very little for Haye's profile. A [idefeat to[/i Harrison, at this stage in David Haye's burgeoning career, would be terminal. Let's make no mistake here - regardless of Audley's negative attributes (and there are countless) - he retains a potent equalizer. And he's hungry. Hungry enough, perhaps, to play the game for real.
I recall reading an interview with Ruslan Chagaev a few years ago (when Audley was unbeaten) in which he complained that Harrison was simply too big for the HW division and should be placed in a separate Super Heavy category. He's not the first fighter to say this. There were a lot of complaints from other boxers when guys like Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe rolled up and started clubbing around the competition.
Audley is a huge unit and packs a fair old wallop when he chooses to unleash it. For sure, Haye has the brain and the tools to fight to a carefully devised plan and take Harrison apart. But if Audley is in the mood he has the speed, technique and - most importantly - power to put some worrying pressure on Haye's dubious beard.

| Exactly. Would be a fight to nothing for Haye. He beats Harrison, people just use it as an excuse to laugh at Harrison once more. Haye loses the fight, and can perhaps kiss goodbye to any of the big boys wanting to mix it with him.

| It's interesting that Boxingscene.com (the biggest and arguably best boxing news site) ran [url=http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=28980THIS[/url as its headline article all through yesterday.
David Haye and Adam Booth are two very clever people who are adept at manipulating the media, but they are fast running out of friends over not entering the ring against the Ks. Granted, Haye probably did the right thing in pulling out to fight Valuev. It got him a belt, recognition and improved his negotiating position immensely. Not to mention the grossly unfair original contract stipulations with the brothers.
But he can't keep calling out these guys and NOT fight them. It makes him look bad and he runs the risk of alienating himself from a highly lucrative American following. Take one more fight - a GOOD fight (not a no-win scenario against the likes of Audley) and then make your move.

| Froch suffered some dodgy refereeing (and judging) in his fight against Kessler. But I still thought Kessler won. Although not by the margins that emerged. I suppose this is karma for the gift he was awarded in the Dirrell fight. I thought Dirrell gave him a boxing lesson ("hit and don't get hit"icon_wink.gif and Froch's accusation that he didn't come to fight rang pretty hollow.
After the ridiculous "bigging up" that the German media gave Arthur Abraham I'm kind of glad Dirrell gave him a hiding. It simply underlines the American assertion that Euro fighters are a protected species who think that knocking over a line of tomato cans makes them great.
I have Froch as slight favourite because he has fought a better class of fighters. Although his ponderous reflexes and perpetually low hands could well be his downfall once more. I don't have much time for guys with low guards. I think it disrespects your opponent and no matter how good your reflexes are (and Froch's AREN'T - in a big way) you'll always take punishment against elite-level boxers.

Thats the most pathetic thing I have ever seen, I think cups people were lobbing at him on the way out did more damage than that "punch"

| Pacman to face Margarito in November at light middle weight. I think Pac wins this despite the size difference.
Oh and if you want funny. Check out Jerry Hackney's KO on that well known site.

| [url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8867503.stmVitali Klitschko to fight Shannon Briggs[/url in October.
Briggs has a big right hand but I don't see him challenging Vitali (who has an equally strong chin) to be honest.
If Briggs can land a couple early on it could be interesting for a few rounds, but I'd back Vitali to win pretty unspectacularly on points.
I hope this doesn't leave Haye wanting Harrison, not sure if Wladimir has an opponent lined up for the Autumn yet?
In other news, anyone looking forward to the Marquez Diaz fight on Saturday night?
First was a great bout but I'd expect Marquez to win this one too.

| Shannon Briggs???...Samuel Peter??...Possibly Audley Harrison??....Is it little wonder that the heavyweight division has died on its backside when this is the quality of its latest challengers???
So much for David Haye's idle boasts of unifying the title and bringing respect back to this once proud division, it now seems that there is little change but for the fact we don't have a bumbling oversized Russian holding one of the belts anymore.
Its obvious the Klitchskos hold little regard for their sport, with their pointless defences in front of the atmosphere free German crowds, and Haye seems to be heading down the same path of taking on risk free matches, whilst robbing the public of any entertainment at the same time...

| It's getting a little tasty between Haye and Harrison...
mrdavidhaye - Shut the Fcuk up Fraudley. If some how we ever do fight, that career high pay day you crave won't cover your medical bills! Pipe down.....
I'd love to see that fight, Haye would well and truly end his career.

| Pacquiao-Margacheato has been confirmed for November 13th. I can't decide whether it will be like Margarito-Mosley or the Cotto-Margarito fight.
Also the Froch-Abraham fight will be for the WBC title and will be a semi final. Ward-Dirrell will be the other semi and the winner of both these fights will meet in the final, which will be a unification fight at Madison square Garden (although the venue hasn't been confirmed).
