| Front Of House 3/1 Southwell 3.20
Backed it last time coming 2nd think this faster ground and flat track might suit better plus AP is back on.
E/W 88/1 treble of Front Of House, Big Fella Thanks and Ebony Diamond.

| 12:50C - Russinrudi @ 11/4
Only bet of the day for me - huge horse by all accounts the biggest that Donald McCain has ever trained but he was impressive in winning 2 points in Ireland (the second occassion being the fastest race of the day in a time 16 seconds faster than the highly touted Fiddlededee at The Pigeons). He looks a great prospect for fences and 3m 1f should be right up his street for his in form yard.

| had a look at the boxing for saturday night too
haye to win by ko in round 1 10/1 or round 2 10/1 big prices, expect him to just jump on harrison and harrison could go into his shell and go down early
saver on harrison to win by ko at 7/1 at any time too... as dont think haye has the best jaw either and harrison is a natural heavyweight and the shots to cause problems

| Well, well, well - got the internet connected back up today to see that Murtagh won't be Ballydoyle stable jockey any more.
Who for the job?
Pat Smullen is the bookies favourite, or would any of the better English-based lads be prepared to go over for it?

| Smullen is fav as he's married to Ann-Marie's sister and no other reason - there are plenty of Irish lads in the running I'd imagine with McDonagh, Lordan, Berry etc. all riding well enough of late.
Personally think it'll be one of O'Donoghue or Heffernan who know how Ballydoyle work and are already familiar with working for O'Brien and co.

| Done Featherbed Lane @ 10/1 E/W in the first at Huntingdon
Bangor 2.10 Major Malarkey @ 4/1
Hacked up last week over 3 miles and soft ground like today carries 7lb penalty for the win but should be good enough to overcome that if in same form today.

He's the biggest talking horse since Mr Ed.
Long Run certainly looks the class act on Saturday and if they hope to be in the King George shake up then the Paddy Power is a race he should certainly go close in.
Only thing putting me off is the jockey. He isn't a bad one by any stretch but would rather see someone that has been there and done it.

Seen this on tele, absoultely shocking. Fully deserves his 28 day ban. It's even worse with the token push as he's overtaken too. Pathetic. Dropping your hands when clear is bad enough but there's not reason not too ride out a finish there.

Anybody that had a bet on that horse to win should be refunded out of the jockeys pocket.

i think its brilliant, my mum backed monsieur the winner
but seriously all jockeys should be riding out... unless the horse has no more to give or no chance of winning

| Its nearly happened loads of times though.
I remember last year in a race at Chepstow, at long odds on (forgot the name of the horse) and Ruby eased him down near the line, just got it right as well.

| Think am going to leave Cue Card I am already on it for decent prices come March.
King Of The Night should be 2nd fav for me so going to back that to place and without Cue Card.
King Of The Night looked really good on first hurdles run round here never coming off the bit, should be better for it as it was also its first run of the season, I just don't think the prices of Dunraven Storm @ 6/5 and King Of The Night @ 3/1 in the mini race are right.
King Of The Night place @ 2.28 and without Cue Card 3/1
Forecast : 1st Cue Card 8/11 2nd King Of The Night 8/1

Agreed. Cue Card should win but looks too short against better horses than last time.
Garde Champetre should be another winner but the ground looks plenty fast enough so I'd probably lay him at evens.

| Clear win today and it will 3/1 or 7/2 for Supreme although Tizzard hasn't ruled anything out yet, hopefully it gets a good round of jumping in and romps it to be all the rage for March.
Theatrical Moment 7/1 E/W in the first.
Ran well over fences last season including here in the Grade 3 William Hill Trophy coming 6th off 3lbs higher, still only 7yo so could get better this season.
