agree with this, kessler won the fight...
great fight though, two tough battlers, froch gone up in my estimation... hope he regains his title at some point, like he said maybe if it was in notts he would of got the result!

Froch took a couple of great shots on the chin that would have put many a fighter down but he took them well . It's not the end of the world for him and the loss will drive him on to regain the title back.

| I'm not sure Froch can come back.....He's had some tough battles lately....Pascal, Taylor, and now Kessler...He's going to become worn out, I'd be worried that Abraham will overwhelm a tiring fighter in his next bout.

| I thought Froch won by a round or 2. I thought he outboxed Kessler, and it was only Kessler's workrate that won him the (particulary in the middle rounds. I also think that Froch will come out of this better than Kessler. Kessler looked like a rag doll at times in there, and his face was battered by the end of the fight. But I knew Froch wouldn't win if it went the distance. Its Saurland after all.

Because it was agreed before the tournment that the Froch-Abraham fight would be in England.

| Hatton threw the toys out after his first defeat and now looks like Froch may do the same.
To be fair to Carl he gets a raw deal from pretty much everyone in this country outside Nottingham. I know it's because of his constant whining about Calzaghe but IMO Froch is probably the 2nd most exciting fighter we have (after Haye) and the deal he gets off the media in this country is shocking.
The judge who scored that outrageous 6 round decision to Kessler wants his head looking at. IMO Froch could have won that fight had he upped the workrate slightly and actually let go with his punches when he had him wobbled around the 5th. Don't agree with him that he'd have got the decision in Nottingham though, he just didn't do enough to win the fight.

Depending on who you believe.
Froch says he had an agreement with Showtime that he would fight at home, then away, then back at home again.
The promoters are saying that the only guarantee was that the Abraham fight would be "in Europe".

| i dont think it will be anywere near a draw i think Mayweather will totally outbox Mosely. Mayweather is always 1 of them just does enough to win if he wanted i think he could get mosely on the counter and knock him out in the 1st 5 rounds

| I'll be very surprised if Mayweather KO's Mosley. Mosley has a great chin, he's never been KO'd before.
It'll go to a decision, where I think Floyd will win. The fight will probably disappoint in the end, but Mosley has a chance. He has the size and the speed to cause problems. I just hope he can land a few good punches to really put Mayweather under pressure.

| What an outrageous 1 round fight that was. Ouali knocked down within 10 seconds then gets up and knock salvidia(sp) down twice, the 2nd of which he couldn't recover from.

| Great performance from Mayweather, although I was really hoping that Mosley would've got the knockdown in round 2 when he landed 2 huge right hands. That would've made the fight interesting. But, Mayweather's recovery from that was superb and he completely owned Mosley from then on.
Pac v Mayweather has to be made. There is no other fight for either of them. This fight makes boxing and financial sense, get it made!

I think thats the first time I have seen Mayweather get tagged, I think that answered a few questions that nobody had the answer to, he can take a punch from a big hitter.

Lastnight only reinforced my opinion that if that fight ever happens, Mayweather will take Manny out, could even do it early if thats which way Mayweather wants to go.

| Mayweather is quite simply the perfect boxer.....He is so adaptable and can make good fighters look very, very average.
Last night's fight is pretty much how I'd see a contest with Pacquaio going....Mayweather toying with him, Manny landing the odd bomb which gets the crowd excited, but ultimately Mayweather cruising to a comfortable win.
As was pointed out last night, underneath all the hype and arrogance, Floyd Mayweather is one very hard man and there is no chance that Pacquaio could bully him or get on top of him.
Still love to see the fight happen, mind you...

| He took Mosleys punches in the 2nd round well , How he didnt go down i dont know . One of the greats. Why is Maywether refusing to fight Pacquiao ? I though boxing would have there own testing that would be good enough for both boxers and camps
Mariah Carey has a nice pair also

| Yes. Weird fight all round.
There was no-one there for a start, half full stadium at best.
I gave first round to Cintron and 2 and 3 to Williams. Fourth round, Williams clips Cintron with a left hand, their feet come together, Williams falls over and Cintron stumbles through the ropes and out of the ring.
From the replays I saw the fall didn't look all that heavy, but Cintron lays completely still outside the ring. He's taken away in an ambulance. Bizzarre.
To add to this the ref states a No-Decision on ABC rules that 4 rounds have not been completed, but then is informed teh bout was under Californian rules and that the 4th round will be scored and we will go to the scorecards.
Asif that's not strange enough, 1 judge gives Cintron every round, One Williams every round, and I think the final one gives it to Williams by 3. All round strange bout that one!
