I question the truth of this, its not confirmed yet. Why would Al Davis II release him when he could quite easily have traded him and get picks? Somebody would give up like a Moss type 4th rounder for him. If not higher.
There are a number of teams who would want him if it is true.

They are the best fit IMO but more than a few would be willing to take a chance on him.
Frankly i wouldn't want him near Green Bay because of his attitude but to release instead of trade seems strange. |

Indeed.
Even with the falling out which doesn't suprise me, allegedly to do with Romo favouring Witten etc, i'd still think if you keep that somewhat under-raps you could get anything from a round three pick downwards for him. Even if you only got a seventh it is better than releasing him. |
