There has to be doubts over Peter Karlsson even if he is passed fit to ride. Leigh Adams won the Elite League Riders Championship at Coventry on Friday so will be full of confidence and if he can beat Chris Harris around there he can win a few heats around Monmore Green tonight.

Taking Swindon at +8 is probably the sensible bet but 9/2 is just wrong and has to be worth going for.

+8 sounds like one to lump on, just like Coventry +14 last week.

I think in truth Wolves will win by about 4

I know it is the way to the poor house but tonight I am going to back Wayne Mardle to beat Terry Jenkins.

Terry tends to struggle early on in tournaments and over this format if Wayne starts hot he could blow him away.

Plus the walk on together should curb some of Mardle's over the top antics and should make him concentrate from the start not throw away the early legs which sometimes happens when he gets over excited during the preliminaries.
