I thought the Leafs got a pasting until I saw the Oilers result!

I think it's time to start playing Khabby more often than the one game in one game out they've been doing all season with their N/M.It's clear Khabby is playing better than Huet so they should play him 4 out of 5 games for the rest off the season.

Also good to see Kane score last night after 12 games without a goal.

I can't believe McTavish is still the coach at the Oilers.They've now lost 9-2 and 10-2 at home this season.

Don't think Huet has been playing too bad TBF admittedly he started pretty shaky but since then has played well. Think all netminders play better on a run of games and would like to see either have a run until they have an off night or lose by more than 2 goals, then switch them.

After Khabby won the game for the Hawks in Anaheim they put Huet in last night and the Hawks lose 5-2.It seems to me if Huet wasn't being paid
over $4million he wouldn't be getting as much playing time.

I've never liked the idea of changing netminders game by game I like to say them played until either they have a stinker or get beat by more than 2 goals. Playing one in one out like they are at present doesn't give them any incentive to play for their place.

As much as I don't feel Khabby has earnt his contract at all since he signed I think that Quenneville may as well use him as he seems to be playing for A) another contract or B) A decent trade/move.

Big win for the Hawks beating the Sharks 4-2. Khabibulin back in net with 33 saves and rookie Versteeg back in the line up playing a part with 2pts.

Hope Quenneville keeps Khabibulin between the pipes in Edmonton and a repeat of the 9-2 wn against them last time would b great.

I normally quite like the vintage jerseys but have to say the Habs one in that game made them look like a jail bird team or they were playing in their PJ's.

What do you make of that? Can't say that I'm keen on it myself, although I suppose it helps if you have 2 goalies you can afford to do it with.

Not a fan of it myself, prefer netminders to be in the net until they either have a stinker or the team loses by more than 2 goals as otherwise you don't tend to get the best out of them.

Huet needs games and a run of them to see the best of him but maybe Quenneville sees this as the best way of getting the most out of them both. Still think when it gets nearer the play offs he'll pick one as his No.1 and he may just be keeping them both active and fresh until then?

I see Sean Avery has now cleared waivers and will be playing in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Dogs (the Rangers affiliate team) after agreement between the Stars & Glen Sather. So may see hiim return to the Rangers after the end of this season?

Chicago get back home from their 8 game road trip and beat the Stars 6-2.The one bad thing from the game is what could be a bad injury to Sharp.
