Back to .500 in the RLFans league having got beat 91.48 v 98.06, mainly due to the Steelers monster performance.

Can't complain too much as I have them in my other league and they helped me to a 151.42 v 95.01 victory in that league, which I'm now 2-0 in!

Something to be said for not paying attention.

Well I'm 0-2 in my league. To say I'm unlucky is an understatement. Last week the team who beat me scored 120. This weat the team who beat me scored 109. I have the 4th most points after 2 game FFS, iv got the highest amount scored against me though

quite shocking for me tbh. Done some really daft picks and canty believe im 1-1 and not 0-2. I gt 64 points this week and 50 of them came from 3 player going to have to do some chopping and changing me thinks. Looks like i may struggle this year especially playing Bearded next who has started 2-0

I think the most impressive bit about the 64 names is that not only do we train 20 miles away, but the average number of players from the smaller campus is 2 a year.

Michael Vick just been announced as the starter in Philly. Big, dumb decision by Reid for me. He's dropped Kolb after 10 pass attempts. This is the same Kevin Kolb they backed when trading McNabb to the skins. Reid now looks an idiot.

This is the same Kolb that he was still backing last night! Whats happened there then? At least let him lose his position next week.

Hes only done it because I have Kolb in one of my teams the fat `tasche faced fooker

If Vick is gonna be the full time starter for the rest of the season they may aswell trade away DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin because they wont be needing them anymore now that the glorified RB is playing

ALot of better this season, sems to be staying in the pocket more. I have him in fantasy as well.

He'll never be a legit number 1 in the NFL, he may just play well enough to get himself away from being labelled as one of the worst number 1 picks ever. (Mind you that is JaMarcus Russell).

I despise Vick but he was very good against us and nearly led a comeback. Clay (by the way he's on course for 48 sacks!) was all over Kolb like a rash yet Vick was able to evade the rush and get downfield. Whether that is because we didn't gameplan for Vick (probably) or because he provides something you can't defend i'm not sure.

He is a decent enough passer but not accurate enough, hence he has to break out of the pocket and run. I think he's actually a better bet for now behind the Philly line than Kolb is and given Kolb only has 3 starts he hardly deserves to walk straight back into the team when the guy in his place is winning.

This summer they basically put the franchise in the hands of Kolb. Regardless of what Vick has done, he was the back up. If Philip Rivers went down after 2 quarters and Billy Volek came in and was amazing for one and a half games - 5 TDs, 650 yards, holding Norv's c**k whilst he had a p**s during the week, the lot - Rivers would walk straight back into the team. Why? Because he's the main man.

Same with A-Rod, Schaub, Favre, Stafford, McNabb, Sanchez, Romo, Ryan, Eli & Big Ben (I've left the big three out). You could probably say the same with Henne, Flacco, Smith & Freeman even though they are hardly solid number 1 starters yet.

Can you honestly see Kolb coming back from this? This is a massive blow for him and potentially leave the birds looking for a new franchise QB in a year or 2.

The only thing I can think of is that Andy Reid is close to leaving, whether it be his choice or not and he sees Vick as his best chance to win. But surely his best chance to win was with McNabb?!?

Somethings gone on behind the scenes IMO for Kolb to be dropped so quickly!

Didn't Kolb get concussed for him to be pulled out and then Vick took over and has played superbly and therefore it's better to keep Vick in.

It's hard to disagree with anything you said. Getting rid of McNaab for Kolb is pretty similar to us getting rid of (well not taking back really) Favre in favour of A-Rod (obviously Favre and A-Rod are far better!

) so i understand the situation quite well.

I also agree with your list of guys that would walk straight back in generally, however i disagree on Henne and Smith but thats a different matter. The difference between those guys and Kolb is Kolb is a 2nd round pick who the Eagles aren't tied to financially for a long time. He signed a one year extension before the season (his deal was $4.2 million when he was drafted) for £12.25 million. He is hardly on the mega bucks and one year shows the Eagles still obviously aren't 100% sure on him.

Not only that there aren't many succesful 2nd round QB's drafted, after the first round it is difficult. The jury is out on Henne who was a second rounder but before that you have to go back to Schaub (3rd round in 2004), Breesus (2nd round in 2001) and even further back to Favre to find any decent QB's so expectation of Kolb shouldn't be that high. (Obviously there are other guys like Romo and Brady who have gone later and succeded but they are the exception rather than the rule)

He has started 3 games (including versus the Pack) and is 1-2-0. If Vick gives them the best chance to win (which IMO he does) then they should go with Vick.

He did yeah but Reid has said ever since that Kolb is his starting QB as soon as he is fit and he even named Kolb his starter on Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday morning but all of a sudden he changed his mind on Wednesday afternoon

Kevin Faulk`s season and more than likely his career is over leaving us very thin at RB



I know most people(mainly non pats fans) wouldnt think he was a big loss but he was a great recieving RB for us especially on 3rd down and a great little special teams player.

We need another RB a.s.a.p IMO because theres no way we can go the rest of the season injury free, not really many good running backs about at the moment either
