I really want Haye to win but I just think Vlad will have too much for him.

it's a well worn tactic though by the Klitschko's.....
send in the chinny wlad first....if he gets KTFO then send him is granite chinned brother vitali....
personally i reckon haye will knock wlad out...but vitali on the other hand has a rock solid chin...hell if lennox could'nt knock him down i don't think haye will

Personally I think it is a bug step up for Haye and I just can't see him winning.
There is a big difference between fighting Monte Barrett at heavyweight and then fighting one of the Klitscho brothers, and although Haye will have the speed to trouble him I don't think he will be able to land punches as cleanly and as quick as he did against Barrett

| The re-match stipulations Haye's accepted are the most brazen I've seen in years.
If he wins he has to fight Vitali, then Wlad.
Given that he's fighting in Germany, where you need to knock the other man DEAD to stand a chance of getting a draw (remember Sven Ottke), I'd say he couldn't have given the Klits any greater advantage had he sewn a horse shoe into Wlad's glove. |

nah...if haye beats wlad,wlad gets a rematch then if haye beats wlad again haye has to fight vitali..
so his next 3 fights is wlad,wlad & vitali..
haye has been proper stitched up..though i wonder if haye beat wlad first up if the rematch is going to be in germany again? |

Edwin Valero is being touted as JJ Marquez's next oponent after another 2nd round KO at the weekend. He has power (my god, he has power) but he looks very voulnrable to counter shots and Marquez is probably the best in the sport.

Valero has great power, but he's wide open at times. He's nearing the top of the ladder now and thus will run into fighters who don't fall over when hit hard. We'll see what he's made of then.

I can't believe the lack of TV interest over here in the Froch - Taylor fight later this month. Froch's last tear up was the fight of 2008 IMO and this time he's facing a really classy opponent.

Indeed seems very strange. I think Taylor will win myself. I like Froch but he takes too many punches. |

If Taylor can keep the fight at range he should win. He has faster hands and better combinations than Froch.
However, Froch has genuine power and a cliff for a chin. Taylor was wobbled on several occasions by Pavlik, who is a middleweight and hits nowhere near as hard. If Froch lands that bomb of an uppercut (perhaps the best in boxing at the moment) Taylor could well be KTFO. It's also worth remembering that Taylor has gassed in the latter rounds of a number of recent fights whereas Froch suffers no such problems. If history repeats itself I can't see Taylor winning.

Agree with your summation Muggy. Froch's uppercuts (and general single punches with that rangy style) are deadly, but Taylor is the classier boxer IMO. Interesting fight, can see it going either way, if I had to bet it would be on Taylor though.

he 'held' back the likes of hatton and calzaghe for years who then left him to get 'super fights' and mega money..i'm i no doubt he's giving khan what he wants cos he knows if he does'nt khan will walk..
