Huge game at the weekend at Bootham Crescent. Oxford come to town in something of a grudge match after our defeat to them on the first day of the season. Was an absolute heartbreaker, 2-1 when we were deservedly leading with 3 minutes to go.

I think of all the teams at your level and above you probably have the best record in all competitions.

i'm glad we deserve some good times.

as people will know we have had a lot of lows in the last few years.

i think we deserve a few good seasons, after all the demotions and going out of business.

soz for mentioning it so often but i never thought i would see a day when Halifax town would take more away fans to a ground than there are home fans, its a good feeling.

City take a point off Oxford. Should of won the game, but we just don't have that killer instinct. We have taken 1 point from 6 against Oxford when by their own admittance we should have taken 6. Think we will be near the playoffs but reckon we will fall just short

Ilkeston 1 Northwich 1

Vics absolutly battered us and our keeper had the game of his life (had a player sent off early in the game, again!!!).....think FC United are in for a very tough encounter next week as on another day Northwich would have had a hatful.

its the fa cup though anything can happen in that. in a normal league game would many people give us a chance of beating Wrexham but since its a cup game i am optamistic of what we can do.

Northwich might win but it will be close.

You could be right but I have a feeling Northwich will beat FC United easily.

Think Wrexham and you will be closer with maybe a replay.

They are nothing special but the gulf in the opposition you usually face and those that they do could be the deciding factor...BUT.....you score first and their doubts will resurface and you could have them there for the taking.

they will come and think why does this team that are 3 or 4 leagues below us play better football.

Well them beating Arsenal when they were 92nd in the league and Arsenal were top of Division 1 was one of the all time upsets, I guess what goes around comes around and you could do similar to them.

no we have Nick Gray 7 goals, Richard Marshall 11 goals, James Dean 12 goals and a defencing partnership that has kept 14 clean sheets from 18 games.

if them 2 make a difference though we could sign them before the end of the week.

5 days probs the longest gap we have had in games for about a month.

its been a busy fixture list and found out today we have to play the west riding cup as well which adds another competition in.

if we can keep this unbeaten run going till the end of november with the amonut of games we are playing then already we will have achieved a memerable thing. we could have aready played 30 matches by the end of november.

FC United beat Ashton Town 3-1 yesterday in the FA Trophy. We're starting to look really good.
