Been out tonight and just seen this on here now.

Shocking news - one of the modern greats I'll always remember him scaring the hell out of me after driving and falling short against us in Superbowl 34 after "The Tackle" on Kevin Dyson.

That really is sad news.

It's being treated now as a murder (of McNair) and suicide (the girl).

It was looking that way after details were released about the pair. McNair was shot twice in the body and twice in the head whilst the lass had one gunshot wound.

They reckon he was asleep when it happened, that's just cold.

His friend was the one who found them, i've heard the copy of the 911 call he made, the guy is clearly devastated. RIP Steve

They'll not have to rely on just Mark Clayton and Todd Heap. They'll have a good running game too but I guess they'll get another WR in from somewhere.

There are a few good wr's still out there inc Marvin Harrison so I think they should be able to replace him.As for the Marshall trade I think Denver fans will go into meltdown if they lose Cutler and Marshall in the same off season.

i will for sure but i can't see who's going to touch marshall to be honest , he's got more baggage than manchester aiport.

He will report for training camp, thats for certain as if he doesn't thats going to screw his shot at free agency in 2010

He looked fine with the Patriots last season.

He did well because he had Welker and Moss to throw the ball to. He was good at short passes and that is it. He is 16th in passes of 20 yards or more (37) and 18th in passes of 40 yards or more (6). Considering the fire power he had he should have been far more effective deep. Plus he was the most sacked QB. Is that a lack of mobility or a poor line? I'd lean towards lack of mobility, he was sacked 47 times compared to Brady with 21 the previous year with the same O-line.

For me he is no better than Thigpen, who was very good down the stretch.
