How does Gareth Barry get a place in City's team? He's absolutely terrible. He was given such hype in the press for a spell when they went on about how he 'provided balance' in central midfield. In truth the hype was totally unjustified and he was never good enough to migrate from left back to central midfield at that level. He was a decent left back, no Leighton Baines, but he's not worth a place at central midfield for anyone, UNLESS he's there purely to defend and you have an otherwise attacking system.

City seem to approach the game like a League 2 team would approach a game against Barcelona. "Ooooh please don't score, arrrrgggghhhhh they've crossed the half way line, get another defensive midfielder on quick. Arrrrggghh".

Why change a habit of a lifetime

How City didn't that game with ease is beyond me. Decent result for us today. Managed to give Rio a rest as well. Blackpool will be a tough test tuesday as it'll be the biggest game of their season. Could be a trap game.

Join the club. I thought our general play was better than when we beat them 4-0 recently but our final ball and shooting were off and they defended heroically.

A bad result for us but I think our general form is fine. Dezeko needs 2 or 3 more games to adjust to the PL and regain match fitness but looks a class act. Despite the result I'm reasonably optimistic about the next few months, although yesterday probably mean that the title is out of our grasp, if it ever was.
