Messi was so dissappointing it was untrue.
Chelsea went there to defend and did it perfectly, and should've won the game, good goalkeeping from Valdez but Drogba really should've scored. I can't see past the Champions League returning to England this season based on last night's game. |

I only saw the first half (didn't bother with the second - bored) and Barcelona looked nervous.
It was the sort of game I thought Liverpool - Chelsea was going to be.

They kept the best attack force in Europe quiet. They kept Messi in their back pockets. They did a fooking good job, something that in 50odd games this season not many other teams have managed to do.
At Stamford Bridge I see no reason why Chelsea cannot beat Barca. If they keep the front three quiet again, they've got every chance to get to Rome. |

Messi was invisible last night. He was kept very quiet and thats the way to beat a team like Barca. Press on to them, dont let them have any room on the ball.
IMO, Chelsea defiensvley were superb. Stamford Bridge isnt a wide pitch therefore Messi and Henry will have a job on creating room. With Ashley Cole and possibly Carvallho back, i think Barca are the underdogs
