FC United's ground at Ten Acres Lane isn't happening due to Council funding issues. Apparently we've got another site somewhere in North Manchester that isn't affected by funding issues and an announcement will be made shortly.

On the pitch, we drew 1-1 at North Ferriby last night. We're in 7th, a couple of points off the playoffs, albeit having played a few games more that some of the teams above us.

Chorley have made it to the 1st division playoffs with a home game against Curzon Ashton on monday.

Interesting last day. Top of the league Chester 3 points in front of Skem, with an 8 better goal difference. Final day results:

Garforth Town 2 v 1 Chester
Skelmersdale 7 v 2 Ossett Albion.

Another 2 goals (or a clean sheet) and Skem would've won the league. Bet they will be gutted if they don't go up via the play offs.

Chorley were up challenging Skem and Chester for most of the season until a couple of months ago when they had a bad run of form.I'm undecided who I want to win the other semi.Better record against Skem this season but if Chorley and Flyde win Chorley get the final at home.

Yeah noticed you have been up there most of the season. Will be hard for FC to win at Colwyn Bay with Wright (16 goals) and Norton (32 goals) both banned, so hope you come up as I wouldn't mind a trip to Chorley next season.

After a few years away Chorley are back in the evostick premier league after beating Fylde 2-0 at Victory park in front of 2,950 fans on friday night.Hopefully a bigger club won't come along and take Flitcroft as he's done a great job as the manager this season.

Went to watch TNS today(welsh league) play Luton Town. Luton were , TNS had only about 4 first teamers playing and it was a breeze.

Great start to the new season for Chorley in the new league,a 2-1 win at North Ferriby away.Looking forward to the 1st home game on tuesday night against Frickley.After so many years in the lower league i'll settle for staying up but I think we might suprise a few this season and finish in the top half.
