Went in first handicap race over this CD last time out off 102 coming from last for second was held up at the back of the field and was badly hampered when starting to make move ran to 111 (only top weight Man Of Iron has better an thats on AW) its now on a mark of 104 but leading apprentice jockey Martin Lane takes 3lbs off to put in below its last run, has run well at Ascot with 3 very close 2nds an also goes with give in the ground only problem seems to be the low draw but seems a very big price still based on its last run and mark.

Drill Sergeant and Domtaline short priced faves, didn't want to risk getting my fingers burned as to make any worthwhile money on either of them a big stake would be required. Drill Sergeant was jumping sketchily last time but was his hurdles bow so should be a bit sharper for this. Domtaline comes here on the back of a smart run in France, but he still has to run his race to win. Twentynineblack has a very good chance but most of the others have similar claims.

Yeah he ran against Long Run a few times and beat him once (May 2009). He missed the spring season at Auteuil as he'd been on the go a while, very nice horse who I like a lot and I think that 2m 5f will be his trip in the long run.

Mid Dancer - normally does well in these preps but is getting older now

Remember Rose - notoriously takes 3 or 4 runs to come to himself and ideally wants 3m+

They'd be the other main contenders in the race.
