| well done amir khan..a wins a win as they say..
interestingly..if the fight had been stopped before the 4th it would have been called a draw and would'nt have gone to the cards...

| He boxed beautifully at times last night Khan. For those slagging him off, just remember he could've done an Enzo and lost when all the expectation was him. Khan has to deal with more pressure and more criticism, so good on him.
If Freddie Roach believes he's going to be a World Champion, then that will do for me. He's extremely fast, throws lots of punches, has good footwork, very good handspeed and he is big for a lightweight. Providing he keeps working on his defence, I see no reason why he can't fulfill his goals.

Well done to Khan - great display. Barrera was never in it really, even without the cut I reckon Khan would have stopped him eventually.
What next for him though- who do people think he should fight? Providing he keeps Roach as his trainer he can go a long long way, and be a multiple weight world champion.

He's only 22, so he's still learning. If he keeps Freddie Roach as his trainer and is regularly sparring with Manny Pacquaio, this lad will go far. He has alot of natural talent, he just needs to be nurtured the right way.

He's also said he's the fastest lightweight he's ever seen. Thats some praise considering he's trained Pacman.

Agreed. He isn't ready. He should rematch Prescott (because if he really wants to shut his haters up, he needs to beat him). And then he would probably be best fighting someone like David Diaz.
Or how about Amir Khan Vs John Murrey for the British title??

Good shout, although I get the feeling Khan, his backers and Warren are in a rush to get a bigger belt than the British title around his waist.
Where to now for Maccarinelli? Looked set to kick on and be a real success but that's two decent operators have sat him down well inside the distance. Is European/Commonwealth level going to be his limit?

I would agree with that. Thats why I reckon he'll end up fighting someone like Dave Diaz or Katadis next. Both are a step up in class but neither are unbeatable to say the least.

It always was his limit IMO. He's another Warren fighter who conned his way to a world title. Its always good to see one of Enzo Calzaghe's fighters knocked on his backside.

He'll go where the money is. It wouldn't surprise me if he waited until later in the year for a fight against the winner of Hatton/Pac Man.

Both will get whooped. The only man whom would give Floyd trouble is Mosely at 135 (Lightweight) and thaat aint gonna happen.

| More murmurs that Mayweather will definitely be returning. Hatton/Mayweather will probably be on, but not sure when it will happen if it does.
Hatton has put his dream on the table - Pacquaio in May, Marquez end of the year, Mayweather jnr next summer in his last ever fight. Obviously he's got to get past Pacquaio, but he's aiming high.
I've seen a few clips of Hatton in training recently and he looks sensational. He's at his fighting weight already (154lbs), he's fast, slick and his stamina is already looking superb. The only worry I have for Hatton is that he's peaked too soon. If he times it right, he'll be superb come May 2nd, I've no doubt about it.
