Weighed in with some 12/1 each way about Duncan in the former earlier this week - been impressive in lesser races this year but has to improve to figure.
Taken some 50's about Summer Bird for the final leg of the US Triple Crown - the Belmont Stakes on Saturday night, he's a top priced 20/1 now and I still think that's about 8 or 10 points too big, he's a bit of a plodder but is one of the few guaranteed stayers in the field and is a big price.
Gone with The Miniver Rose each way in the Oaks tomorrow, was impressed with her very early this season - the run behind Nehaam and Monitor Closely looked decent at the time and I think they can bring her back to peak on Friday

I had Detroit to win pre-season. Says they won the series on the official site, but I've got a nasty feeling it's from last year.

It's a tough game to call.
HKR must be gutted after their golden point defeat to Warrington last Saturday but have a day more to get over their exertions than Huddersfield who bombed chance after chance against Castleford and therefore made hard work of defeating the Tigers.
Wish it wasn't televised then I could ignore it as a betting medium.

Exactly what I was thinking mate. I've gone with Rovers with the 2 start at evens.

| Would not put off anyone laying Roberto Martinez at 1/33 or so on BetFair not to be next Wigan manager.
There seems to be a bit of uncertainty and it has come out how much he is getting a year at Swansea and to be honest it's totally disproportionate to the size of club we are.
There is a chance he will stay or perhaps even a move to Celtic could be re-ignited but risking a pound to win 33 in the circumstances is not bad business for BetFair users.
He will probably end up at wigan but it is not a racing certainty yet and Wigans chief executive is not brinning with confidence about the deal either.
As a Swans fan from my personal point of view I think he will go sooner or later and it is better he goes now whilst we have a few off weeks to sort out a new boss as if he was to be poached mid season I think it would hit the club far harder than him leaving now.

No
He's good at producing teams that play good football BUT they tend to sit back when infront and will get punished if they do that in the Premiership.
Both grounds are dual purpose but Swansea's is like a Billiard table even if the Ospreys have played there the night before unless Wigan sort theres out the passing game he likes may be compromised.

If he goes I am not one iof the fans who wishes him ill like when Lee Trundle or Andy Robinson left but getting Wigan a few places up the league would be a big achievement but probably not get him much Kudos getting a team like Swansea into the Premier League and his stock would rise considerably.
Celtic I could understand but Wigan is a bit of a hiding to nothing as take Bruce for example Birmingham....Wigan.....Sunderland in 5 years is hardly shooting up the managerial ladder at a dramatic rate.

In terms of budget maybe but in terms of league placing either finishing top 10 is more than satisfactory and neither would be likely UEFA Cup candidates or even major Cup Final material.

Can't make my mind up. Fancied Warrington with the 6 start last week, but more confident this week for some reason...could go either way I think.
Previously a loss like Saturday would set us back a couple of weeks, and coupled with a Sky game away from home and I wouldn't want to touch us betting wise, but we're stronger and more resiliant now.
Can't work Hudds out either. Just gonna watch this one. Gonna keep my Fev winnings and have a dabble elsewhere.

| What happened to Caz Ruffian?
As nothing is on here I'm guessing he didn't make the final.
At least my featherstone bet came off though

| Wade could be vunerable against Manley, who will not like having been out of the spotlight by missing out on the Grand Slam of Darts and the Premier League. A few quid at 250/1 outright might look a decent prospect if he can get past Wade.
Colin Lloyd is like Gary Anderson in he gets knocked out in his first match of a tournament far too often and John Part looked in decent form last night (plus he is desperate to do well to protect his ranking points from 2007/08 ). 6/5 priced up so far if theres is any 6/4 when the rest go up that would be a decent bet.

That's probably what I should do but with it being on TV, I'll end up having a go but it'll be to a smaller stake than on Featherstone.
