I think the reason why Wellbeck went down is because he clipped his own heel. Whether that was because of the contact is open to conjecture.

One of those 50:50 calls, some you win, some you lose.

Cahill did catch Vidic, which was a shame for Cahill as I don't think Vidic would have gotten to the ball anyway.

That's how I saw it. But Jagielka appeared to nudge his calf which made him trip himself up.

What a dreadful game of football. No doubt we'll never hear the end of it from the Everton fans, but I thought they offered very little all game against a scratch United side. I hope they're alot better in the final, otherwise we'll have to watch another dreadful game. I feel Drogba will cause them alot of problems though.

Today's result doesn't really change much for us, have to win our home games starting with Pompey at home a week tomorrow. Lose that and we're pretty much down.

It does, aswell as Sunderland (although they've shown a bit more over the last two games) but especially Hull. They have a tough run in and in my opinion, need to beat Stoke at home and Bolton away. We simply must beat Pompey though.
